Once Upon A December

The 1st day of December's been pretty nice: favourite idleness till lunch, then quick cleaning up my room and watching different series during all day! Yesterday I realized I hadn't watched 2 episodes of "The Carrie Diaries"! Also there's an episode of "The Originals" in turn.
It's snowing outside - real winter, everything's white. I've not gone out today, and don't feel up to, but I fully imagine how it feels like.
My dad started repairing our bathroom, so it's become hard to use it comfortably. But when my dad finishes, the bathroom will be nice. By the way, everything new and necessary starts and appears now, right before my leaving home for another city I'll be study in. New rank at our school, new furniture in our classroom, new buildings and places in our city, new bathroom in our flat, - everything I can like shows up when I don't already need it.
How am I going to spend the rest of the day? I should learn a poem by heart, write my literature home task and read for myself.
Since tomorrow I'll start buying New Year's gifts for my friends. I've already found some ideas; and Dasha has asked me of a certain gift, so she'll get it. New Year celebrations is my favourite part of winter.
And the song of the day will be "Once Upon A December" - a waltz sung by the main character from my most favourite animated film "Anastasia". I seem to know every line from the film! I've watched it for hundred times and won't stop doing it again and again. This song has as many versions in different languages as there are versions of "Anastasia" for such amount of countries.

Dancing bears, painted wings
Things I almost remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December

Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory

Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory

Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Things it yearns to remember

And a song someone sings
Once upon a December

Be brave, enjoy December

P.S. I've used my cars-lights from Japan to see the keyboard, becase it's already dark and I'm too lazy to turn the ligths on. But instead boring lamp I've got a local disco with myself and my cat! Yey!

Million Dollar Things

One of my laziest days. My English lessons started on 3 p.m., and I got out of my bed only approximately on 2.15. And yes, I still don't feel it's my vacation. Tomorrow after I see my mom off on the plane and have some beauty rest with my friend, I'll have a concert - is it called "vacation"?

I'm Your Biggest Fan

But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Lady Gaga, "Paparazzi"

Hey, guys! Happy Halloween! While a half of the planet is celebrating the day of the dead wearing cool suits, I do nothing extraordinary. Therefore I'll make here kinda fan-space. Nothing special, but my favourite fan-arts. And a good old song I lately became obsessed with.

Be brave!

P.S. Yeah, it may look like Lanapocalypse.
P.P.S. "THE CARRIE DIARIES" SEASON 2 HAS STARTED! I'm so excited! Have just watched the 1st episode, and it's so coooool!

Working on my...

I never thought I would be so happy as I was yesterday seeing our interpreter and curator from Japan work in August. We talked and had fun, it felt like we hadn't even said "goodbye" to each other!

As I came home late from dinner, I still had to do my homework, therefore - follow my thought - I haven't slept enough last night. Therefore today after my English lesson I've dedicated my time to me, myself and I, eating and sleeping. And eating.
Talking about eating, at school we've been measured our weight, height and arterial tension. Like I thought I've put on some weight. Well, now there's an aim to take it off.
Also yesterday, before the meeting with Japanese friends, my friends and I had an awesome walk meeting more friends and taking photos. And the photos are the coolest as usual.

Soon all series will start their new seasons - so excited! Except just "Doctor Who" and "Sherlock" - they make us wait wait wait....
Though I'm not a big fan of rap, but latest rap music is pretty nice for me, so there's even one artist I like listening to, it's Iggy Azalea. I don't know why, but she rocks me with her beats and melodies, so I'm sharing this with you. The song of the day will be "Work", the song she's become worldwide popular.

[VERSE 1:]
Walk a mile in these Louboutins
But they don't wear these shits where I'm from
I'm not hating, I'm just telling you
I'm tryna let you know what the fuck I've been through
Two feet in the red dirt, school skirt
Sugar cane, back lanes
3 jobs, took years to save
But I got a ticket on that plane
People got a lot to say
But don't know shit bout where I was made
Or how many floors that I had to scrub
Just to make it past where I am from

[REPEAT 4x:]
No money, no family. 16 in the middle of Miami.

[HOOK:]
I've been up all night, tryna get that rich
I've been work work work work working on my shit
Milked the whole game twice gotta get it how I live
I've been work work work work working on my shit
Now get this work
Now get this work
Now get this work
Now get this work
Working on my shit

[VERSE 2:]
You can hate it or love it
Hustle and the struggle is the only thing I'm trusting
Thoroughbred in a mud brick before the budget
White chick on that Pac shit
My passion was ironic
And my dreams were uncommon
Guess I gone crazy, first deal changed me
Robbed blind basically raped me
Rose through the bullshit like a matador
Just made me madder and adamant to go at em
And even the score
So, I went harder
Studied the Carters till a deal was offered
Slept cold on the floor recording
At 4 in the morning and now I'm passing the bar
Like a lawyer
Immigrant, art ignorant
Ya ill intent was insurance for my benefit
Hate to be inconsiderate, but the industry took my innocence
Too late, now I'm in this bitch!
You don't know the half
This shit get real
Valley girls giving
Blow jobs for Louboutins
What do you call that?
Head over heels

[REPEAT 4x:]
No money, no family. 16 in the middle of Miami.

[HOOK:]
I've been up all night, tryna get that rich
I've been work work work work working on my shit
Milked the whole game twice gotta get it how I live
I've been work work work work working on my shit
Now get this work
Now get this work
Now get this work
Now get this work
Working on my shit

[VERSE 3:]
Pledge allegiance to the struggle
Ain't been easy
But cheers to Peezy for the weeks we lived out of duffel
Bags is all we had
Do anything for my Mum, I love you
One day I'll pay you back
For the sacrifice
That ya managed to muscle
16 you sent me through customs
So….
All aboard my spaceship to Mercury
Turn first at the light that's in front of me
Cause every night Ima do it like it's my last
This dream is all that I need
Cause it's all that I ever had

[OUTRO 2x:]
Now get this work
Now get this work
Now get this work
Now get this work
Working on my shit

Lately Britney Spears has released her new single "Work Bitch", and it's probably on the same theme. I've just listened to the song, and even though Britney's beat is more dancing, I like Iggy's "Work" more.
Well, I can dance for everything.

Be brave, work on your shit.

P.S. Now I want Louboutins.

Movie's Day. Part II

Finally I've the rest of the power to write about some movies I've seen lately.

A week ago I watched a miraculous movie "New Year's Eve". Yeah, don't be surprised I watched it in the mid of May, Russian TV likes so. I'd wanted to watch the film for a long time, and here the occasion appeared. The main aim was to see pretty Lea Michele not as Rachel Berry, and Lie was so cool. Also Zac Efron and Ashton Kutcher were awsome and sweet, typical stuff for girls. A line recalling "Sex and The City" in our mind from the mouth of Sarah Jessica Parker was hilarious enough, am I right?
End up, I laughed and cried, shortly - liked the movie.

The next movie is a Russian biographic drama"Legend #17". It's about Valeri Kharlamov, a famous incredible Soviet ice hockey player. I'd never thought I'd like a film about ice hockey and their players, but Russian cinematography happened to change my mind.

Also I've watched a short ITV series "Lost In Austen", 2008. It's a fantasy adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Loosely following the novel plot, modern Amanda enters through a portal in her bathroom, to join the Bennet family and affect events disastrously. (Thanks, Wikipedia, as usually). It has 4 parts and uncertain end, but anyways it doesn't spoil the whole series. Moreover, Mrs. Bennet's played by River Song! Of course, you understand me - Alex Kingston takes the part of the mother.

The last thing I'd like to tell is that I've watched an episode of the 2nd season of "The Hour". Unfortunately, the series is going to be... closed. So pity, true true. Even though it's dark, sometimes hard to understand, but still interestind. BBC itself says to love this show, but they had to choose. Maybe, they will resurrect it later? BTW Ben commented to like this show and his character too.

And the song of the day will be one more song from the soundtrack of "The Great Gatsby". It's "Bang Bang" by funny Will.I.Am, actually the premiere - the music video was uploaded on the singer's VEVO YouTube channel only about 15 hours ago!

(Verse)
I love her, can’t leave her,
Forever I’ll always need her,
She lie, but I believe her,
Lovesick I got that fever.
Love stupid, I know it,
Love stupid, I know it,
I know, cause I’m a fool in love.

My baby shot me down again,
Shot me down with the love and it go bang bang.
That girl’s a killer from a gang,
Shot me down with the love and it go bang bang.

And oh, I love her so, that’s why I gotta let her know
That I’ll be here for her to always love her down.

And maybe that’s the truth,
The clock can tick and ain’t no use,
I wonder when my tux can see you when you’re down.

(Chorus)
Bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Love him down, down
I shot my baby with a bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
Bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Love him down, down
I shot my baby with a bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.

(Verse)
I love her, can’t leave her,
Forever I’ll always need her,
She lie, but I believe her,
Lovesick I got that fever.
Love stupid, I know it,
Love stupid, I know it,
I know, cause I’m a fool in love.

My baby shot me down, down, down, down
Shot me down with the love and it went pow-pow
I love my baby’s freaky style,
But my baby’s always sneaking out.

But damn, I love her so,
That’s why I gotta let her know
That I’ll be here for her, I’ll always be her man.
And baby, that’s the truth,
You’re my chick, bottlecruise,
I got that roof, I put that diamond on her hand.

(Chorus)
Bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Love him down, down
I shot my baby with a bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
Bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Love him down, down
I shot my baby with a bang, bang,
Got him with a bang,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.

(Bridge)
Oh, yeah, I love my baby
Hey baby yeah I love you,
Stupid is what stupid do,
Tom and Jerry and Scooby Do,
Oh baby, I’m a fool for you.
Come here, baby, be my lollypop,
I make it better, make the booty drop.
Hey baby, can’t get you out my brains,
Damn girl, you’re such a sexy thing.
Pretty little lady
And my baby makes me go down down
My baby makes me go down down
My baby makes me go down down
My baby makes me go down down…

Happy Easter 2013

It's the Easter, and all I do the whole day long is eating and sleeping literally. I've even had a dream that my mom and I arrived to NY and we needed a map. So one native man decided to give us his map, plus a keychain. Due to the rule that everything mast be paid for, my mom gave the man $600, having forgotten that $600 isn't 600 rubles. It's kinda a little lesson from me for myself not to forget about it during my USA trip.
Today there won't be a TV programm I like, so probably I'll watch a movie or will keep on watching "The Sex And The City". It should be obvious on my loving "The Carrie Diaries". Even though it's rather 18+.
The weather becomes good. Snow melts. And no, it's not a joke.
Omitting all my snotty thoughts, I admit there's always something we should care less about. Just promise me not to miss a chance and enjoy living right at the moment.
Here's the song of the day. It's "The Man I Love" by beloved Lana Del Rey.

All that's real to me,
Is Marilyn and Jesus.
Jumping off'a bridges,
Sparklers and streamers.

Honey, I wanna fly,
I wanna fly, I wanna fly.

All that's real to me,
Is Halloween and Jesus,
Coney Island beaches,
Chandeliers and seizures.

Honey, I wanna fly,
I wanna fly, I wanna fly.

I can't be with the man I love,
I can't be if he treats me rough.
I can't see him, I can't call him up.

All that's real to me,
Is trailer parks and beaches,
Alabama freezes,
Platinum impeaches.

Honey, I wanna fly,
I wanna fly, I wanna fly.

All that's real to me,
Is Halloween and Jesus,
Coney Island beaches,
Chandeliers and seizures.

Honey, I wanna fly,
I wanna fly, I wanna fly.

I can't be with the man I love,
I can't be if he treats me rough.
I can't see him, I can't call him up.

All that's real to me,
Is Marilyn and Jesus.
Jumping off'a bridges,
Sparklers and streamers.

I can't be with the man I love,
I can't be if he treats me rough.
I can't see him, I can't call him up.

And here's some pictures for you, as I like doing it.

Moreover, I wanna share with you how our table has looked like in the morning. It's been really nice, even though my niece damaged the red Easter Cake.

What might have been lost ~ ~ ~

I've got earache again, but now with the right ear. Because of it I haven't gone to school and rehearsal today, and tomorrow I won't go too. Just I've watched one more time "Confessions Of a Shopaholic" in my warm bed eating milk chocolate. What a paradise! How much I love this movie! I've cried my eyes out again. Also I'm going to watch today "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", as my music friend suggested me.
My choir header has called me this morning and told that the travel to Korea is going to be in the beggining of May, and they want me to join, but I've had to refuse, becuase very soon I'll give my foreign passport for American visa.
It's already been the final of the 1st season of marvellous series "The Carrie Diaries", and I long so much the 2nd one! It'll be enormous grief, if the series is canceled. Unfortunately, a lot of watchers aren't from the USA, and not everyone has an IPad with the official CW app, therefore official rating is lower much than real rating, for sure. Well, if the catastrophe happens and "The Carrie Diaries" won't have continuation, I'll watch all existing episodes times and times again.
And the song of the day will be a mystic song "The Wolves (Act I and II)" by Bon Iver.

Someday my pain, someday my pain
Will mark you
Harness your blame, harness your blame
And walk through

With the wild wolves around you
In the morning, I'll call you
Send it farther on

Solace my game, solace my game
It stars you
Swing wide your crane, swing wide your crane
And run me through

And the story's all over you
In the morning I'll call you
Can't you find a clue when your eyes are all painted Sinatra blue

What might have been lost -
Don't bother me

Be brave, stay healthy

This could be...

A right chosen purse is a half way to be noticed. I tell you, men would hardly look at your shoes, but a purse... I think bags is an area of creativity, where you can express yourself, especially while we're young. I'm kinda bags' fan, one purse isn't enough for me. Ah, why have I started talking about the bags? Because men around me notice my incredible purse! Not only men, of course, but a woman always notice everything on another woman, so I don't have to tell you girls stare at it. But my choir header and my class teacher have noted my red bag. It's pleasent :3
I haven't walked with my music friends, and tomorrow I won't as well, so pity... Well, I've cooked new dishes today, and tomorrow I'll clean my flat. My cooking skill goes up every time, I'm prond of myself. I hope friends will like the dishes on Friday.
In some hours I'll be watching a new episode of "The Carrie Diaries", hey hey! Will I cry again? Oh, probably. And yesterday I saw "Mean Girls" - what a typical American comedy for girls! But anyway it's really nice and funny, and the cast is simply brilliant! I know there's the 2nd part for TV, but it's not so popular. Maybe, I'll watch it too.

The song of the day will be an amazing song "Paradise" by an amazing band "Coldplay". Listen and dream of para-para-paradise!

Life goes on, it gets so heavy... Therefore be brave!

The Olga Diaries

Today in the early morning my friend and I went for a walk, exactly to sleigh . It was eally early, because it was from 7:45 to 10:30 A.M.! Nah, we're not mad. It's kinda our tradition on the 1st of January (we're still not mad), but as you know we didn't sleigh on the 1st of Jan due to having better time. So today we finally fixed that problem, but we're going to do it one more time. Or more. :)
After sleighing I've been playing The Sims 3 for the whole day. Shame on me, I should've studied chemistry, but yesterday I realized that I didn't know anything anyway. Well, now after having a bath I'm going to study. Fortunately, there's no more homework for tomorrow. Actually, my chemistry studing isn't a home task - tomorrow I'll attend my teacher after lessons to find out how to correct my written test's mark. You know, I can't have such kind of marks - the worst ones. So wish me good luck tomorrow, because contact with my chemistry teacher drives me crazy.

Right now I'm watching "The Carrie Diaries". Oh my God, I'm weeping! I can already tell you I'm totally in love with this series. You would reproach me, but I haven't seen "Sex And The City", anything of this big world. But taking into account that "The Carrie Diaries" is the prequel to "Sex And The City", we can say the series about Carrie's youth is my first step.

I like the offscreen text there. Carrie "writes" real things, which happens in life of almost every girl. And I guess almost every girl has ever kept, or has tried to keep, or still keeps on keeping her own diary with her thoughts, dreams and secrets. Frankly, my diaries looks like a chronicle, my privat one. And where's my wise thoughts? Right there, in my mind. And when I try to put them on the paper, I realized it's all very sentimental, silly and useless, and continue writing about what have I eaten. But, maybe, in the future there'll be a series based on my diaries too? Who knows what I'll write about, when I am 25...

Yesterday I watched the Valentine's episode of "Glee". And you know what? I'm shoked! In the beggining I thought the episode wouldn't effect me much, but in the end...! OMG! So many things happened - but I won't say a word of it! The most impressive thing or correctly person of the "I Do" (the title of the episode) for me is Mr. Finn Hudson. He's just sex there. His speech with "She loves me" and "She loves me not" is simply the earorgasm.
Telling about the ears, my earaches has almost gone, only little reminding pain has remained. I'm glad the ache has gone relatively fast.
And the song of the day will be deluxe bonus of lovable Marina And The Diamonds named "Lonely Hearts Club". January to December - do you want to be a member?

Don't be lonely hearts - be brave!
