Summertime Sadness II

It's been only 4 days since my last post, but it feels like I was out forever. Or for a week, at least. In a nutshell, I couldn't write in my blog, watch series or text to my buddies because the Internet broke down. But today it's magically started working again, I haven't even had to call the service!
Two days ago I went to the concert of "Mumiy Troll" with my friend Dasha. The concert was amazing! Even though it ran so fast! We both adore the leader's trousers. There's actually a photo from Khabarovsk's concert, but who cares?

The day before yesterday Dasha and I booked sushi! Hey! I'd wanted it so long, and finally we ate a lot of sushi and rolls. So yummy!

Yesterday after revising all my mails, my mom and I was watching a movie. It was "Julie & Julia". What a kind movie! The film is about my 2 favourite things excepting music: writing and cooking. Well, you know, I'm not about to cook every day every meal, but when I do cook, it's always something special and delicious. So, let's back to "Julie & Julia". The movie's based on two true stories of two nice women of the XX and XXI centuries. Julia is Julia Child; she was an American chef, author, and television personality. She is recognized for bringing French cuisine to the American public with her debut cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and her subsequent television programs, the most notable of which was The French Chef, which premiered in 1963, thanks to Wikipedia. And Julie is Julie Powell, an American author best known for her book Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen, and a subsequent movie. Julie started her business cooking meals from Julia Child's book and writing about it in her blog. Of course, she ran into some troubles as well as Julia, but everything came to the happy end.

I really like the movie, so funny, easy and kind. Now it's an aim to cook something.
Aghr, yesterday my Internet still worked hard, probably I seriously should call the service? I was sitting in a strange pose and my left hand was about to ache holding the Internet wire. It's ridiculous and hopeless. Right now I can't breathe, I can't move the laptop and my body, desirable. Not to worry the wire.
Dear guys, today is the last day of summer and summer freedom! Are you ready to school? Probably, I am. It's going to be nice to see my school friends again, ask them "How's been your summer?" or something else. But summer... It's sadness. Summer... Sadness... Are you following my thought? Summertime Sadness. I do understand I made this song as the song of the day on the 1st day of summer, but more logical to put it on the last day. I am da boss here, I'll put "Summertime Sadness" every last summer day. So, here I go, and "Summertime Sadness" by Lana Del Rey with me.

Moreover, it's damn cold inside as well as outside. Is it real summer? In 5 hours - NO.

Panic.

Honey Bunny

The past 2 days were terrible. My chorus and I had some concerts in different towns, and the ways there were horrible on our Russian roads. Moreover, I felt myself so bad, I though I would vomit.
Therefore today I decided not to worry myself and just lie in the bed all day long. But anyway my mom didn't think so and asked me to go to the shop. So I took advantage of the opportunity and bought some cosmetic doodads. One that I wanna share with you is a honey bunny "Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist" by the TonyMoly. TonyMoly is the Korean global total beauty brand that's been established in 2006. The best distinguishing feature of the company is bottles' design. It's full of kitties, bunnies and fruits. So sweet! *___*
Well, here's my thing. It's kinda a mineral water for oily skin to mat it and do all good things. "Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist" doesn't hurt make-up and works excellent!

Scanning TonyMoly production I figured out I've already got one lip gloss by the brand; this is TonyMoly "Fruit Princess Gloss" #6 Cherry. My Korean friend Yulia presented it to me and one to Dasha probably a year ago. It's not my pic, I was too lazy to look for the lip gloss over my stuff.

Also some monthes ago I tried TonyMoly "Dr. Tony Ac Control Patch", but I wasn't delighted by the result. Today I read a response about the plasters, and the author said she was glad using them, so tastes are tastes and people are people.

Generally, TonyMoly rules! I'll try to find something by them else, for myself. I saw some their goods, but they weren't right for my type of skin.
Already some days in a row one song's been sticking in my head. It's "Zombie" by Natalia Kills. The first time I listened to it the song reminded me about "Warm Bodies". I hadn't thought I would listen to Natalia Kills until Cherry Lady showed me her song "Controversy".

Friday Night

Hi!
Today I woke up in the afternoon and found some money on my laptop. It wasn't a surprise for me because I'd asked my mom about it. And I think dad added a little too. So, money made me go to the shop, I had to buy some food for tomorrow's concert day. The main thing is buying noodles!  I guess noodles have become my habit this summer.
Well, I got spaghetti, and I didn't have just to full it up with hot water, I had to really heat up, so I chose my cooker and felt myself a real cook. All in all, my lunch ended up very delicious, so I'll buy that spaghetti one more time.
Right now I'm playing senseless games from Google Store. I play then delete. Perfect crime.
Go take some nice pictures:

Yesterday Dasha and I realized that the forthcoming Sunday is the last Sunday of the summer, next week we'll already go to school! Actually, we aren't against coming to school, even though we're all afraid of the final exams.
Aaaand the song of the day today is going to be a nice famous song "Your Firefly" by Ben Cocks. I like his surname.

When the sun comes, you’re my shade
When the moon comes,
your’re a little firefly
I love you more than I can say
No I’ll never fly away

I’m your firefly, I’m your shade
I wanna live in a house that we’ve made
I wanna love you everyday
And I’ll never fly away

School Shopping

Yey, we did it! We bought me new outfits to school. Mom and I did it professionally quickly and exactly. Now I've got a dark-blue skirt, 2 dark-blue dresses, 2 dark-blue shirts, a khaki raincoat, a white shirt and a dark-blue trousers, a grey t-shirt and damn number of jumpers. And a powder.
But I'm not gonna take a photo of everything, just took one of my bags, because my shopping was great.

Tomorrow I'll have to show all my purchases to my friend and dad.
Also my mom asked me to join her at the presentation of a musical author's theatre from Novosibirsk. Guys, my first thought was "What the hell am I doing among the sectarians?" LOL
On Saturday I'll visit my travel agent to tell her about my journey in America, so now I'm downloading our photos, and think about some of them "What a cool photo! Why haven't I noticed it before?" For example, this photo from Grand Canyon.

Probably, that's all for today. The song of the day is "Mermaid Hotel" (or "Mermaid Motel") by adorable Lana Del Rey. This song reminds me a burlesque show or a cabaret.

Maybe we could go to Coney Island
Maybe I could sing the national anthem
I, a white sweater, for the last white day
Of the summer

Buy my purple wig
For my mermaid video
Walk back to where we live
In a motel
I'll never tell, never knew

You call me lavender, you call me sunshine
You say take it off, take it off
You call me lavender, you call me sunshine
You say take it off, take it off

Maybe we could go to Suede Tokyo
Or see Van Halen at their reunion show
Heavy metal hour on T.V.
Diamond Dave and Ray late
And you salute me, Miss America
Because I am, I am

You call me lavender, you call me sunshine
You say take it off, take it off
You call me lavender, you call me sunshine
You say take it off, take it off

Maybe we could go to Coney Island
Maybe I could sing you to sleep
God bless the universe, god bless the ocean
God bless you and god bless me
God bless you and god bless me

You call me lavender, you call me sunshine
You say take it off, take it off
You call me lavender, you call me sunshine
You say take it off, take it off

A Little Of Everything

I spent time with Dasha, and she showed me her latest purchases - new clothes for school. Her choice is really cool, and what about me, so school shopping only lies ahead tomorrow.
Our school uniform this year must be dark-blue for our class. Parallel classes are going to wear black and grey colours. Actually, our school uniform was just black&white, or something official. But now the Government has decided to introduce own uniform for each school and even for every class. Schools decide themselves about colours and cut. Fortunately, we, as upperclassmen, just need to follow certain colour. But honestly I didn't want dark-blue to be school uniform one.
Also Dasha and I watched two movies - one comedy and one worship.

The first movie is "Scary Movie V". As you know, it's a series of films parodying horrors and thrillers of the year. So, the 5th part parodies "Black Swan", "Mama", "Paranormal Activity" and others. The movie has really funny moments, even though it's rather typical American comedy.

The second movie is - you wouldn't believe I've finally watched it - "Fight Club". The movie is worth being watched by everyone. We don't even know the real name of the protagonist, although we don't need it. I liked things about Jack: I am Jack's heart, I am Jack's wasted life... Also now I know where my friend got the phrase "Martha's polishing the brass on the Titanic". It's brilliant.

I keep on feeling ill and it is not well. At forthcoming weekend I'll have concerts with the chorus, so I should recover as soon as possible. And in general, the feeling of illness isn't the very longed-for feeling.
In eight days Dasha and I will go to the concert of famous Russian band "Mumiy Troll". Relatively lately they released their albums in Europe and US and made an English-language album "Vladivostok" (the guys are from that city, btw).
Shady lady said she would go to the concert with her friend too, but she hadn't bought the tickets yet. So I hope we'll meet there.
According my writing about "Mumiy Troll", let their song be the song of the day. Nowadays I like the song "California Dreaming", sung in Russian about living in Russian winter, but thiking about Californian weather.

To make the post full, here's a new dose pf pictures:

Short Post. DFTBA

Today I've visited my friend Ruben. I presented him a gift from the USA and Japan, we had a walk telling jokes to each other and ect. Well, a typical day with the friend.
But a bad thing is that I woke up in the morning with my running nose! And the whole day I've been living like I'm ill! It's horrible! I don't feel like getting sick in August! Oh, God, I can't help sniffing, it's disgustingly, I feel rotten.
An amazing thing is that today doesn't rain! Yey!
But last night my Skype friend with the nick Silvantir ordered me the song of the day! So cool. The song is actually a comic one and sung by famous YouTube vloggers Michael Aranda and Hank Green. So why not? Let this song cheer me up. I like they repeating "DFTB DFTB DFTBA"

Don't forget that brains attract
Darling fetch the battle axe
Decepticons fear this brilliant autobot
Do fish take baths a lot?
Dogs frequently take back apologies
Dreadful feudal treachery breeds atrocities
Darkened forests take bravery away
DFTB DFTB DFTBA
Doctor Freud's Topic Became Afflicting
Damn Facebook, too bloody addicting
I came Down for the baby's arrival
But the Dead father's thoughts became archival
Drunk fish try breathing air
Debutante's fame tarnished by affairs
Delano fears to be afraid
DFTB DFTB DFTBA

I don't know what you mean when you say
Please explain What is DFTB?
I don't know what you mean when you say
Please explainWhat is DFTBA?

DFTB DFTB DFTBADFTB DFTB DFTBA
DFTB DFTB DFTBADFTB DFTB DFTBA

It's so Damn fine to be alive
Until your dorky farting turdface brother arrives
Difficult financial times bring apocalypse
Danes fear the burning acropolis
Donate for the blood association
Don't for the beaux's admiration
Delilah's fruitcake triggers belly-ache

DFTB DFTB DFTBA

Dead frogs teach bored anatomists
Delightful fans that blithely assist
Duel for the best acronym
Dark force to barely apprehend
Dastardly farmers took Bessie away
But she was Destined for the burger anyway
Distro falling through bleak Autumn
Don't forget to be awesome

I don't know what you mean when you say
Please explain What is DFTB?
I don't know what you mean when you say
Please explain What is DFTBA?

DFTB DFTB DFTBADFTB DFTB DFTBA
DFTB DFTB DFTBADFTB DFTB DFTBA

"Oh, and Hank...
Like it says on my friend Katie's arm...
don't forget to be awesome."

I don't know what you mean when you say
Please explain What is DFTB?
I don't know what you mean when you say
Please explain What is DFTBA?

DFTB DFTB DFTBADFTB DFTB DFTBA
DFTB DFTB DFTBADFTB DFTB DFTBA

Dandelions fly through blue air. Dandelions fly through blue air

Nothing more to say. Be brave and DFTBA.
Order the song of the day LOL

Room To Write

Today I've fallen in writing and reading.
I keep on reading "The Master And Margarita". Probably, I won't finish it the book this week (so, tomorrow), because to tell the truth the book doesn't come easy to me.
Also today I've opened "Room To Write" by Bonni Goldberg which I bought in the USA, and have done the 1st task. I've been asked to write about a word having more that one meaning. I've written in Russian, and I think it's very well. I've put my experiment in LiveJournal, so people could follow my steps. Why not?

Moreover, there's a novel "In the Company of Others" by Jan Karon next to me. What a huge book! How could I buy it? It's the very case when just hands worked, not brains. But I hope one day I read it completely. BTW, I started reading it in America already.

What about supporting music (is there a thing I can do without music?), so today is a day of Richard Cheese and his guys. They make absolutely wonderful covers for popular rock and pop songs. Let you make your own choice what song if better.

Walks And The Song Of The Day About Santa Monica

These 2 days I've had walks with my friends.
Yesterday, 14.08.,  I finally met with my ex-classmate Yulya who lives now in the South Korea. She's been here, in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk since June (she had came even before I went to the USA), but we hadn't chanced to see each other till yesterday. Also Dasha kept our company. We told Yulya a lot about out current classmates and decided to introduce out Korean friend to them. And I hope, we'll find a day to gather until Yulya goes to the Republic of Korea (she'll leave us on next Wednesday).
And today it's been the most raining day of this summer, I suppose; but it couldn't stop me and Cherry Lady from having a nice long walk. We've both become wet and tired, but we've both had a great time.
Ouch, the rain's just become hard again. It's damn horrible! Is it real summer?
Today I've had the matter out about my English lessons forth-coming academic year, and also about my mathematics lessons. My aunt is a math teacher, so I've asked her to study with me.
As I'd planned, I watched "Beautiful Creatures". And yup, I liked the movie, magical and lovely. What about the last night, so I watched childish Disney movies "16 wishes" and "Radio Rebel". I can't call those teenage films childish because of the boys playing the main roles. I look at them not like at the princes, but like "OMG what a cute guy! How old is he? Does he have other movies?" and so on. I chose a Disney movie, because I just wanted to relax and not to think about deep meaning of the film.
Right now I've found one awesome song about... Santa Damn Monica! It's performed by "Theory Of A Deadman". I don't know this band, but the style of the song reminds me about "Nickelback". Maybe, another cause would make me pass this song by, but I was in Santa Monica myself, I can recall images of it listening to the song, so certainly I've saved the track.

She fills my bed with gasoline
You think I wouldn't notice
Her mind's made up
Her love is gone
I think someone's trying to show us a sign
That even if we thought it would last
The moment would pass
My bones will break
And my heart would give

And I remember the day when you left for Santa Monica
You left me to remain with all your excuses for everything
And I remember the time when you left for Santa Monica
And I remember the day you told me it's over

It hurts to breathe
Well every time that you're not next to me
Her mind's made up
The girl is gone
And now I'm forced to see
I think I'm on my way
Oh, it hurts to live today
Oh and she says
"Don't you wish you were dead like me?"

And I remember the day when you left for Santa Monica
You left me to remain with all your excuses for everything
And I remember the time when you left for Santa Monica
And I remember the day you told me it's over

I wanted more than this
I needed more than this
I could use of more than this
But it just won't stop
It just won't go away

I needed more than this
I wanted more than this
I asked for more than this
But it just won't stop, it just won't go away

I remember the day when you left for Santa Monica
You left me to remain with all your excuses for everything
I remember the time when you left it all behind
I remember the day you told me it's over

I remember the day when you left for Santa Monica
You left me to remain with all your excuses for everything
I remember the time when you left for Santa Monica
I remember the day you told me it's over

The Master And Margarita. Rubinrot. The Other Woman.

Today was my typical day on the holiday - all the day I've spent in my bed except one going out to the shop.
I started reading "The Master And Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov, and when I was reading it afternoon I fell asleep. So lol. But I'll finish it, I plan to do it this week. Right now I'm reading it, and the action's started!
Last night I watched "Ruby Red" or an original title "Rubinrot" . It's a German fantasy movie based on the same named novel by the German author Kerstin Gier. The movie is about a girl with mystic gene permitting to travel back in time. Of course, there's a handsome guy and a negative beauty (who looks like Lana Del Rey so much). It may be called a typical teenage movie connected with magic, love and adolescent problems. The film's made very qualitative; even though the movie's German, the location is London.
"Ruby Red" is the first book of "The Gem Trilogy" (followed by "Sapphire Blue" and "Emerald Green"), so the movie is also the first of the potential trilogy.

The main heroine Gwyneth (original Gwendolyn)
and "Lana Del Rey" Charlotte
The main guy Gideon and Gwen when they being in the 18th century
I liked the movie, I'll watch the next part. Summer days I remember about my love to fantastic stories, every summer I rewatch Harry Potter series. About 2-3 years ago fantasy was my favourite genre in literature and cinema, and now I'm not against watching it, but talking about the books, now fantasy I read is different from the fantasy I read before; now it's not pure fantastic genre, it's mixed with real life like my favourite "Chocolate", "The Lollipop Shoes" and "Angel And Demons". Even "The Master And Margarita" is fantasy too by the highest standards, but with satire and romance.
Now I'm going to watch "Beautiful Creatures". I hope, it'll be in my style too.
And the song of the day will be a disappointing song "The Other Woman" by adorable Caro Emerald.

Little girl, just keep on waiting
For that man to give you a life
You keep on hoping
So this prince can save you
Keep on dreaming his scandalous lie
For your love is he the hero?
Does he know that you begging him please?
Where angles dare, the devils fill that need.
In your despair does he get up to leave?

At the start of his goodbye
Do you ever realize
That you never get the chance
All you get is alibis
When smoke begins to fade
And you standing face to face
Does he kiss you in the way to say
You're the other woman, the other woman

Way that dress, the one you rely on (mmmmm)
Slip up high that shows off your wares
And when he's arriving give him that invitation
Keep on wishing
Of his dollars and cares
For your love he is your hero, yes
Even though you are begging him please please
Woman I'm scarred, your risks are never-ending
And don't you pretend
You don't live what you dream

At the start of his goodbyes
Do you ever realize
That you never get the chance
All you get is alibis
When smoke begins to fade
And you standing face to face
Does he kiss you in the way to say
You're the other woman, the other woman
You always be the other woman
You always be the other woman

Baby
Trust me,
I've been there before
You don't
Know him
I know him more

At the start of his goodbye
Do you ever realize
That you never get the chance
All you get is alibis
When smoke begins to fade
And you standing face to face
Does he kiss you in the way to say
You're the other woman, the other woman

Red One

Today I spent my day with Dasha, and she helped me with one colourful thing - she dyed the ends of my hair with red hair-dye. I bought and already used this hair-dye in the USA, but now my friend did everything according to the rules, how it should be - firstly she dyed me with the brightener, then she took my red hair-dye. Yeah, I know that red ends of the hair is mainstream now, but there was no other good colour, and anyway I like it. The main thing is not to photograph yourself with duck-face. Amen.

It's almost the middle of August, so I have to prepare to school. Yesterday I checked my last year copybook and figured out, that I don't have to but new copybooks! But I had bought some in Japan, because then I hadn't known I'd had sufficient amount of copybooks. Probably, I'll use my new Japanese copybooks for exam's preparations. EXAMS!!!
Today Dasha and I have watched "Now You See Me". What a cool movie! Magic or deception? What do you prefer? A character of Mark Ruffalo is very interesting.

Seeing the title of the post, I'm sure you've remembered about a famous music producer. Before writing this post I haven't known he's Moroccan-Swedish. Well, as the song of the day, I offer a song made with his participation - "Poison" by Nicole Scherzinger.

And some pictures for your night:

Be brave, don't lose last summer weeks!

Movies' Day. Part III

A day before yesterday my mom and I watched an old Russian movie "Window to Paris", 1994. The film is about the Russian people having found a window leading from St. Petersburg to Paris. They found there adventures, obstacles and love. Unfortunately, the window closed one day, but there still was a hope to find another one. The film shows real life of Russia, and it hasn't changed in 20 years, actually.

Yesterday I had really a day of movies. Firstly, I watched "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song". It's a sequel to the 2004 film "A Cinderella Story" and the 2008 sequel "Another Cinderella Story" (I've watched both), again reprising the same themes and situations but not containing any characters from the earlier movies. I just wanted to watch something easy and naive, so here coming this - classic plot. But this movie's more connected with the songs, as you can understand, whereas "Another Cinderella Story" works with the dance, and the first Cinderella Story is just a modern version of the tale.
Talking about yesterday's "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song", so actors were sweet, songs were nice, the end was good, love, kindness, friendship.

Then I watched modern version of "Three Musketeers" starring Matthew Macfadyen, Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich and Orlando Bloom. Even though the film received negative reviews from critics, I liked it. The movie's pretty fine, a good thing to while away the evening. It was nice for me to watch Matthew Macfadyen again, I've been loving him after watching "Pride and Prejudice" with Keira Knightley. And Mr. Lerman - what a cute guy. And Orlando Bloom - keep on remembering Keira Knightley - probably, it's my second movie after "Pirates of the Caribbean" with Orlando. And Milla Jovovich, she's not my type LOL

Finally, my last film for yesterday was "Great Expectations", 2012 with Jeremy Irvine. I remember that guy for the main role in "War Horse". The movie's based on the classic book with the same name by Charles Dickens; the story is about the orphan Pip who has grown in out-of-the-way place is about to become a real gentleman. He gets money, but from strange people; he falls in love, but in a strange girl. What about the cast, there's also unbelievable Helena Bonham Carter, amazing Ralph Fiennes and awesome Robbie Coltrane - all of them you know for what? "Harry Potter", of course. Here in the Russian Internet we call it "British communal flat". All in all, I liked the movie. I adore this kind of films basing on classics: "Pride and Prejudice", "Jane Eyre", "Anna Karenina", "Becoming Jane" (though it's not a classic novel, but a movie about a classic author), "War and Peace", and now "Three Musketeers" and "Great Expectations".

The song of the day will be a dubstep song "Drop The Other" by Emika. It's a slow beautiful song, which has been turning on and on in my head for about a week already.

I'm so

Stupid and foolish I dropped the other to be available now
Where are you to keep the confidence?

I'm so
Stupid and foolish I dropped the other to be available now
Where are you to keep me faithful?

My oh my oh my
Did I drop the other
Why oh why oh why

You make it look so good
The way you put it like that
Yes I know we could
So shall we?
From the very first time
I could see in your eyes
They showed me everything
I need was waiting

Yes I always work hard
I can make you flip out
You see now I got nerve
For asking what I'm worth
If you really got faith
Then I know you'll invest
Hold your money up high
Waving and smiling

Electra Heart

Lights, they blind me
Marina And The Diamonds, "Electra Heart"

There's a time for the Diamonds - all the fans of gorgeous Marina And The Diamonds. As she promised, a big thing happened yesterday, on 8.08.2013 - the era of Electra Heart ended. It had lived exactly for 2 years - since 8.08.2011 till yesterday (BTW, the 8 of August is a day when Marilyn Monroe was buried). Marina created a character, mysterious and obvious at once; this character reminds me so much a character of one of my favourite books "The Lollipop Shoes" (or "The Girl With No Shadow" in the USA) - Zozie de l'Alba. I want to believe Marina read this book too and got inspired with it, because listening to "Teen Idle", "Seventeen" (though it's not EH) and other songs I imagine the events of the book.
Why do I know this is the end of Electra Heart Era? Just because yesterday Marina downloaded a music video for the song with the same name, where all her musics videos of the era are mixed together. It is so wonderful! The song of the day. The song of the era.

Also recently Katty Perry killed her "Candy Perry", her image of Lollipop and era of "Teenage Dream", and now everybody is waiting for her new single "Roar" and new album "Prism". So do I. Wait just 3 days. THREE DAYS TO A NEW ERA.

And, of course, you all know about honey Gaga with her forthcoming "Artpop". The lead song "Applause" will appear with the music video on 19th of August. Oh God, so many things at the same time, at the same August!
There's one more thing among the news. Now we know the new 12th Doctor! This is Peter Capaldi. I haven't watched any movie or series with him, but I'm already so happy to see him as a new main actor of Doctor Who. Yeah, sweeties, I don't like much Mett Smith as the Doctor, he hadn't even watched the series before he became a main character of it. And at least, Capaldi has eyebrows.
Well, you know the song of the day, and I've written down the lyrics.

I'm Electra, I'm Electra Heart
Only living, living in the dark
Lights, they blind me.
Can we go back, go back to the start?
Where the holy father made his mark?
Lights, they blind me.
Can we go back?..
Lights, they blind me.
For forgiveness you could always pray,
That the sickness, it could go away.
Lights, they blind me.
At the altar, would you pay the price?
Would you give your, would you give your life?
Lights, they blind me.
For forgiveness...
Lights, they blind me.
Lights, they blind me.

♡Be brave, be Electra Heart♡

Made In Japan

As I promised, today my post is about Wakkanai's festival. The right title is the 53rd Wakkanai Antarctic Port Festival. It was held on the 3th of August, and approximately 1000 people were dancing 2 Japanese dances: "North Sea top dance" and "Antarctic dance". We had learnt those dances a day before the fest, but anyway we mixed up watching at other groups dancing something their own. Talking about the groups, let me explain you the organisation. People are divided for the groups: a group of Wakkanai administration, a group of the hospital, a dance band, a group of pupils and etc. We were with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Wakkanai and Russian probationers. Every group had each own name board and each own style. In the end I learnt it was kinda contest, so there even was a winner group. Moreover, a group could dance its own version of the dance. All groups were settled in a big column, we moving up and down the streets, music being around. Each dance was about an hour, we had some 10 minutes breaks. Nakai-san hold our name board, but in the end I took it away and brought by myself.

Some of people wore really odd clothes, and it was amazing!

~Time of awesome stories~
That day in the morning we sang at the railway station, and I met there a girl from Hong Kong and invited her to listen to our performance. She liked us and even took a photo with us. And in the evening she met us at the festival by chance! So cool! We took photos again, though my pictures of her became not so good. I asked her name, so the girl is Enjole, or Enjore, or maybe just Enjoe - I couldn't hear with those loud music. Anyway, for some reason I was glad to see her again, she's nice.
I wanted to take a photo only with her, but no - other participants decided to do it too.

To sum up, I fell in love with the festival and would like to be there one more time. And more.

The interesting thing is that Wakkanai's elite participated in the fest as usual people too. They didn't need any body-guards, officials enjoyed the fest with "mere mortals". Russian authorities wouldn't do it, I'm sure.

There's a mayor of Wakkanai in the red clothes

To continue the theme of Japan, the song of the day is gonna be "Made In Japan" by Ysa Ferrer. Oh yes, it's a very old song, but it still stays cool.

Be brave, dance and look for things made in Japan
