Snowboarding Girl: Part II and other pleasures

I should start the post with the story Dasha and I experienced on Tuesday. We got a big meeting at sсhool in the evening, but it didn't prevent my friend and I from snowboarding...
But the thing is that we got to the place for winter sports at 8 p.m., while the place was about to close at 9 p.m. Do you think we turned around and went back home? Certainly, we did not! I didn't rent a board that time, of course (though my classmate had promised to lend me his board that day, but he forgot!), but after Dasha's one ride, she borrowed me her snowboarding set and I rode as well! Even a half more that only one time. Anyway it sucked, because the route was too slippery because of the ice, the ice was everywhere in the cold evening after a too warm day. But I took a nice photo with Dasha's board!

A half of the route was ridden
sitting like that

But that day I understood one more time what I did wrong and what I should do to snowboard right. Well, I'm about riding frontally on the edge. And today I've finally done that - I rode this way even without falling! But I fell when I couldn't stop or when I felt that of I didn't fall, I wouldn't hurt myself or hit other people.

New snowboarding day -
new snowboard!
It's all because I have to borrow them
at the place
Dasha's lucky having her own set

That's too cute! Children being taught
how to ski :3

I deeply hope the next time of snowboarding I'll finally figure out how to ride regular or Goofy.
You wouldn't believe, but I had other events in my life between snowboarding. I participated in a social project for a big competition among the schools of our city. We presented a project about drawing 3D pictures dedicated to the Victory Day. We couldn't believe, but we won the 3rd price! So nice, even though all I did in the project was just telling my lines during the presentation.

Also today I presented my awesome work about Chekhov. Well, it's not right about the author, but about foreign staging of his play "Three Sisters". I worked on the paper for about 3 months and was glad to end it up presenting. But biggest happiness came when a judge called my name and presented me... the 2nd place! Yey! Actually, I thought I would take the 1st prise, but the winner was worth it as well. I got a glut of gifts; I guess it was the most gifted competition I'd participated ever.

It was my first performance from the rostrum :'3
All my presents, yey!
By and by we'll have girls' competition. We ain't gonna carry that burden only on our shoulders, so we also involved boys in that hell. Lately we started learning a dance where a boy picks up a girl in a super-duper pose. LAUS DEO I'm still able to walk. I really though I wouldn't take a single step the next day, but as you know now, I even snowboarded. I'm about that I'm not well-trained, and it was too hard for my legs to stretch like that. But if we do it, it'll be really beautiful. And we'll win.
The song of the day will be... oh. It's gonna be "Conquest Of Spaces" by amazing Woodkid!

And hey, BTW my bestie Cherry Lady's having her birthday today! Well, it's not quite right - she was born on 29, February. But due to the well-known fact I have to congratulate her the next day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING!
