History Of Mine (***Flawless)

OOOOOOHHHH What a day! To be correct, what a morning I had!
Today I had the regional Olympiad for history, and I got to be at one of our universities at 9 a.m. But the problem is that I woke up... at 8.45!!! Something had happened with my phone, so my alarm clock didn't worked, and I woke up without any sounds, hoping it still was about 6-7 in the morning, but sun bins struggling with my curtains really worried me. And here it went! I had only 15 mins to put my dress on in a hurry and runrunrun to the venue. I got there right on time, full damp and with no make-up, and I wasn't even the last! There was even some time to wait till the start, so everything turned out to be ok.
The Olympiad itself was... err... ok as well. I can't value it properly, I simply solved what I knew, and that's all. Tomorrow I'll participate in the 2nd part pf the Olympiad, I'll have to write 2 compositions. Sooo it's my area of power. I'm used to writing "epic" essays, they'll blow the teachers away.
My top brass of the chorus left our island for a 1,5-month work in Japan. They did the same last year, and will probably do it every year now. And while they're away we visit our rehearsals only twice a week instead of 3 times. But these rehearsals are more boring (though almost every rehearsal is), therefore I guess I'll read my books even faster.
Talking about books, a couple of days ago I finished "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", and my tutor has already given me the 3rd part of the series. BTW, 3rd part is my favourite <3 p="">I got really serious problems with my cell phone. It doesn't charge fully, lose the energy quicker than ever, and last night, as I've written above, suddenly turned itself off. I wonder, it all boils down to the battery. Surely, I can just buy a new battery, but I've been wanting a new phone generally for some time, and after this night's even my mom realized too I need it. But if we are going to buy me a new phone, it'll be such a shame for me: we already need to buy airplane tickets for my entering the university, need buy or sew a dress for the prom, mom's already got some debts, and plus here goes my cell phone. I know, we'll handle all this mess, but still I worry.
I should go to sleep earlier today (not to sleep over again). I don't know why, but I wasted my time last night till 1 a.m. I was able to go to sleep earlier, but Internet magic held me up, and now you now how it ended. So now I'll read a bit, and then I'll say hello to my pillow.

[Verse 2: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie]
We teach girls to shrink themselves
To make themselves smaller
We say to girls
"You can have ambition
But not too much
You should aim to be successful
But not too successful
Otherwise you will threaten the man"
Because I am female
I am expected to aspire to marriage
I am expected to make my life choices
Always keeping in mind that
Marriage is the most important
Now marriage can be a source of
Joy and love and mutual support
But why do we teach girls to aspire to marriage
And we don't teach boys the same?
We raise girls to each other as competitors
Not for jobs or for accomplishments
Which I think can be a good thing
But for the attention of men
We teach girls that they cannot be sexual beings
In the way that boys are
Feminist: the person who believes in the social
Political, and economic equality of the sexes

[Verse 3: Beyonce]
You wake up, flawless
Post up, flawless
Ride round in it, flawless
Flossin on that, flawless
This diamond, flawless
My diamond, flawless
This rock, flawless
My rock, flawless
I woke up like this
I woke up like this
We flawless, ladies tell 'em
I woke up like this
I woke up like this
We flawless, ladies tell 'em
Say I, look so good tonight
God damn, God damn
Say I, look so good tonight
God damn, God damn, God damn

Momma taught me good home training
My Daddy taught me how to love my haters
My sister taught me I should speak my mind
My man made me feel so God damn fine

[Verse 4: Beyonce]
You wake up, flawless
Post up, flawless
Ride round in it, flawless
Flossin on that, flawless
This diamond, flawless
My diamond, flawless
This rock, flawless
My rock, flawless
I woke up like this
I woke up like this
We flawless, ladies tell 'em
I woke up like this
I woke up like this
We flawless, ladies tell 'em
Say I, look so good tonight
God damn, God damn
Say I, look so good tonight
God damn, God damn, God damn
I'm Flawless
