20-something

This is for them 20-somethings
Time really moves fast, you were just sixteen
"Schoolin' Life", Beyoncé

As soon as I've just turned 20 (TWENTY! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?), I'm ready to publish some lists I've been making for some time. I must admit it hasn't been easy to recollect 20 mistakes I've made or 20 books that have impressed me enough so I would recommend them. Of course, these lists can easily be edited, but that's what I've got by the age of 20 so far. Hope you'll have fun reading them!

20 mistakes I've made:
1. Didn't go out with that one boy at school
2. Had too many expectations for my graduating party
3. Didn't book a hostel in Tokyo beforehand
4. Didn't read enough this summer
5. Wasted a day in LA on walking with the most boring guy in 2015
6. Scored 83 points for the Russian final test at school
7. My first boyfriend
8. Half of my would-be boyfriends
9. Ate that cheesecake in Khabarovsk in 2014
10. Do everything in the last minute
11. Didn't talk enough with all the kinds from my teams in the camp
12. Didn't put on my sunscreen on the Tobizina cape
13. Didn't put on my sunscreen in Santa Monica in 2013
14. Didn't take any photos with the people I hung out with in LA in 2015
15. Ruined my biological clock
16. Didn't ask about the 3OH!3 album Omens in Amoeba
17. Don't say right answers louder during the classes when needed
18. Drank too much at my unofficial matriculation at university
19. Wasted some money a couple of times when I could've saved them, ok
20. Didn't get along with my elder sister during our childhood

20 lessons I've learned:
1. Always think about where to stay during not only trips themselves but also stepovers in advance
2. Let things go
3. Take your time, don't forget to relax, always arrange some me-time
4. You aren't to like all the people around. It's ok to have someone you don't approve
5. Have some money in the bank as some kind of a back-up
6. Upload the photos you take to Google Photo or iCloud or anything like that. You never know when your device can get broken or lost
7. Being nice is a rule, but being petty and bitchy isn't always a bad idea
8. "If you can't love yourself, how the hell you're gonna love somebody else? Can I get an amen here?" RuPaul
9. Love your parents and make sure you call them often enough. They deserve it, they love you
10. Trust your friends but rely on yourself first
11. Lovers come and go, friends stay. Cherish them
12. Better be alone with someone you don't care of
13. Don't care what they think. Put on as much make-up as you want while you're young and beautiful
14. Don't care what they think. You can be young and beautiful till the end of time
15. Don't know what color you should choose? Choose black
16. Be helpful - and for yourself first
17. Take risks - they tend to pay off!
18. Take in some vitamins, take care of your health
19. Read more
20. Enjoy the moment, don't miss living

20 songs I adore:
1. Jason Mraz "I'm Yours"
2. The Neighbourhood "Ferrari"
3. Beyoncé "Diva"
4. Marina And The Diamonds "How To Be A Heartbreaker"
5. Beyoncé "Partition"
6. Ariana Grande "One Last Time"
7. Lana Del Rey "Backfire"
8. 3OH!3 "Love 2012"

CHRISTMAS TIME

If you haven't believed in miracles before, I'm here to reassure you. They exist! On Christmas day I got my Internet back which had been lost for several days. MERRY CATHOLIC CHRISTMAS!
So, the poor Internet connection is the reason why I haven't posted Christmas songs these left days. I'm so upset about it! It had been such an awesome plan to keep me up writing! And here it failed... But nevertheless I'm back on Christmas to wish you [as usual] everything you want!
My final Christmas song for you will be... let it be several songs again.
Just now typing "Christmas" in my music source I've found a Christmas song by Lady Gaga feat. Space Cowboy called "Christmas Tree". Analysing the style and the lyrics, I can say the song belongs to Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" era, and it's pretty fancy.

Also I can't help putting "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, so here you go! And BTW I didn't liked the version by "Fifth Harmony", no way.

And for ending that I give you imperishable by fabulous Frank Sinatra.

What have I done during missing days? I have been getting my marks. You know, finally I'm glad I get all those good marks because it was my work, because I really can something, not because school needed another 'gold pupil'. Of course, some teachers gave us marks not depending much on our knowledge, but nevertheless. Tomorrow I'll get my 2 last marks, and the semester will be totally over! On the 30th of December (even though now I see I could do it earlier) I'll fly home and will be back in Vladivostok only in the beginning of February! Yey! Isn't it cool? Love being at the university.
At the weekend Cherry Lady and I are putting up a party with our local friends. There are going to be about 6 people including us, so we'll celebrate New Year and Christmas, and say each other goodbye, because our friends live in Khabarovsk, one girl in Chita, we in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and so we won't be able to see each other for the whole month. Well, now I know it's nothing comparing with not seeing my school friends for months.
What are you going to do on holiday? I plan on seeing relatives and acquaintances, having fun with my friends and... discovering Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk's bars I wasn't able to go to underage, maybe? LOL we'll see... >:D
So now I leave you for awhile again, but saying 'have a good-good time!" VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

*Be brave!*

Start Of Something Incredible

And here it starts - 2014! Send a wish upon a star, and it'll come true certainly!
My family. New Year edition
Of course, I was listening to the chiming clock announcing the New Year with my family. We had fun taking photos. The most hilarious part was when my dad tried to take a photo of us with my elder sister's tablet.
After the midnight of the new year some of my friends and I gathered together and went for a walk as we had done a year before, but there were only 6 people! So we went to the main New Year's trees of our city and came back to the place of the meeting.

Our little company with me taking the photo
The boys suck, but Dasha and I look so pretty,
don't we?
We walked till 3 a.m., and then the boys went somewhere-I-didn't-give-a-shit ('cause it was without us), and we, girls, went to Dasha's yard to go on having fun. I stayed at Dasha's place for the whole night (and morning, all in all - till 4 p.m.), and my friend and I drank enough not to remember all the jokes we made. Moreover, we tried watching "Magic Mike", but it fell though. LOL
On my way home I took a video about snow, because Denis from LA had asked me to - they have only rains there, whereas here we have a freaking lot of snow. BTW, here's the link, if you know Russian.
And if you guess my 1st of January finished with making that video, you lose. Only having come home, I was called by my class teacher asking:
- Where are you?
- I'm home.
- What are you doing there?
- Me? At home? Well... I've just come from Dasha...
- Really? So, ring round everyone, and I'll wait you all at "Cherry Bar" on 5 p.m., everything's ordered.
- But how? In one hour? Why didn't you call even later??
- Oh yeah, I could ring you up in 30 minutes before the meeting.
So I called my friends, went ran to Dasha again, and together we took a taxi to the bar. I was called again and again by my friends wondering WTF was happening, but even I hardly had an idea. When Dasha and I finally got to the bar, we had to wait for a pretty long time until firstly the friends, I called to, came, and even later my class teacher, some our friends and some parents of them got to the place too. There we mostly sang various songs, ate a little bit, those, who wanted, drank. Generally, it was a nice party, so homey and cozy.
And only after that I finally got home, made my snow video and sort out my New Year's gifts. Dasha granted me a cool mag looking like a Canon lens and "ARTPOP" album by Lady Gaga. Woo-hooo!

My girls presented my some festive souvenirs - always a safe bet. Also I got a present from Ilya, which is pretty strange for a girl. It is a PC game "Empire: Total War". I immediately installed it in the evening on coming home. Having been brought up with "Civilization V", I only get used to "Total War" world, even though I've already tried "Napoleon: Total War" out.

Installing "Empire..." made me come back to Steam. Of course, I used it when I played "Civilization" during summer 2012, but then I put it off and forgot my password. I tried hard to recalled it or restore my account anyhow, but after all my efforts I gave up and said goodbye to my "Civilization" and all money I'd paid for that. But only today, if I've got a new account, I've bought "Civilization V" again (online now, with a cool reduction - thanks to this festive season), with all additions I'd had that time. And right now it's downloading YYYAAAAASSS!!! *O* [Yup, I love strategies]
And noooow I'm ready to watch new season of SHERLOCK! YAS AGAIN! The premier here is a bit later that in London or in Europe part of Russia, but here I go - watching one of the coolest series of our time.

New Dress. Being Snowflake.

Hey there! My Sunday was full of various stuff, and here it goes.
In the morning (I can call it 'morning') my mom and I went to the shop because according to her she'd saw a nice dress for me (we still keep on looking for a dress for the prom). But mom turned out to pick dresses out for herself, and it made me mad! In the end I found a dress to try out (and even burst out crying in the fitting-room). The dress were too warm to be called "prom dress". Of course it was! - now Christmas time, and there are piles of dresses made of tough fabrics, they are meant to be worn in winter and autumn. But mom decided to made a New Year's present for me and bought it. Yey! Now I've got a new beautiful dress! It's so classy! But frankly the material, the dress is made of, reminds me a carpet LOL

What my happiness about the dress fell off, I started sewing... a skirt for my snowflake suit! I did it absolutely "hand-made", because I had no sewing-machine and didn't want to ask someone's help - if you want to do something well, do it yourself! And well, I did. But instead of a puffy skirt I got a tulip-form one - just because I sewed the layers in a wrong way. Anyway, it's pretty puff, but not in the way you may think of the snowflake. Maybe, tomorrow I'll try doing something else with the skirt, but it's unlikely.

My Markiza really liked the cloth

A ready-made skirt being fixed up

And here I am a snowflake! Couldn't help Instagramming. As you can see, I also decorated my top; earlier I bought white tights, and today I've bought white ballet shoes. This top silver bolero I bought 2 or 3 years ago, but yesterday I finally cut a flower off from it - snowflakes don't have flowers! And if you've mentioned this shining something on my head, so it's kinda a crown, fitting perfectly for snowflake's role.

While I was making my super skirt, my parents fixed our fir-tree up. It became so nice and festive! Even though our firs aren't so luxurious as there're in the USA, but still they're so fine and homey.

Today I've been informed my holy friend Ilya and I will participate in the region stage of the Olympiad for English. Atta guys!
The song of the day will be "Sexxx Dreams" by Lady Gaga from her latest album. I know I made it TSOTD already, but I've been listening to this song all day long and can do nothing with that.

Be brave! Have nice dreams!

I'm Your Biggest Fan

But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Lady Gaga, "Paparazzi"

Hey, guys! Happy Halloween! While a half of the planet is celebrating the day of the dead wearing cool suits, I do nothing extraordinary. Therefore I'll make here kinda fan-space. Nothing special, but my favourite fan-arts. And a good old song I lately became obsessed with.

Be brave!

P.S. Yeah, it may look like Lanapocalypse.
P.P.S. "THE CARRIE DIARIES" SEASON 2 HAS STARTED! I'm so excited! Have just watched the 1st episode, and it's so coooool!

I don't speak German, but I can if you like

No homework - no obstacles to write.
Yesterday I made a cool hair style, and it still lasts! But right after the moment I took the rollers off, I looked like a clown!

Yesterday
Today
Also yesterday I took part in the second step of our English Olympiad. I don't know why our teacher brought so many pupils for the 2nd step - Ilya and I were the best.
I think about revising my Italiano knowledge. Even though I've stopped learning not to hinder my final state exam preparation, I shouldn't forget what I've already known. And frankly speaking I know enough to understand the simplest texts. Moreover, I read in an excellent way. But only I graduating school, I'll renew my self-learning.
Cool news - Ms. Perry has finally released her new album "Prism"! I'll definitely buy it! (When we get it in our city) For now my favourite songs of the album are "Dark Horse" and "Legendary Lovers".

The last one is kinda Indian-style, so soon I'm gonna have a play list with the song made with Indian melodies. But I'm not sure about the album cover. I though it'd have more swag as well as "Roar" would. But I was right neither about "Roar", nor about "Prism" cover.
Of course, I'm also waiting for Lady Gaga's "ARTPOP", especially with the fact that she mentions Russians in one song ("CUZ I LOVE LOVE CUZ I LOVE LOVE YOU BETTER THAN YOU BETTER THAN, MY DARKEST SIN. RUUUUSSSSSIAN HOOOOOKERS ANDD CHEEAPP GIIIIIIN"). So proud of Russia!! LOL
And even more I'm longing for the new season of my fabulous "Doctor Who"! BTW, Mark Gatiss celebrates his BDay today. Happy Birthday, troll!
Why have I put the line from Gaga's "Scheiße" in the title? I don't know. Probably, just because I'm listening to it right now. I really love her albums "Monster", "The Fame Monster" and "Born This Way". I hope, "ARTPOP" is going to be the same cool.
Ah, nearly forgot! Today's been the first snow! The winter is coming and all the jazz. Yeah, it's pretty damn cold outside!
So, sweeties, get your song of the day and go. I should sleep a bit.

Mirrors Gonna Fog

I've really really been meaning to write, but I'm too exhausted.
I've participated in the English Olympiad today, and there was a text about blogging that actually inspired me. But now on coming home after all my businesses I do understand I can't do anything but sending you some pictures. Get fan atmosphere!

BTW, I'd like to mention that my OTR (One True Reader) Ilya had his Birthday on the 8th of October, just 2 days ago, and at coming weekend we'll have our party. I'd wanted to write a congratulating post, but I was too tired and lazy again.
And the song of the day will be the first song of my little Natalia Kills era. The song is "Mirrors". The line from the song you can see at my last picture - "Sex Love Control Vanity". Such an enticing song!

Shut up

Shut your mouth and close the door
I wanna watch you while you take it off
I'm gonna take a blindfold put it on
And then I drop the leather to the floor
I said shut up

Turning the lights out
Burning the candles
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
Turning the lights out
Tighten the handcuffs
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight

My stiletto on your neck
Until I tie your hands above the bed
You've gotta
But boy, don't pull the trigger yet
Na na na
I haven't reloaded the clip
Na na na

Squeeze hard, hold that pose
You know I like it, do it
Sweetheart, I'm the boss
And when you get close to it
I'm gonna make tonight a show (oh, oh, oh)
I'll make your love grenade explode (na, na, na)

Turning the lights out
Burning the candles
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
Turning the lights out
Tighten the handcuffs
And the mirror's gonna fog  tonight

Turning the lights out
Burning the candles
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
Turning the lights out
Tighten the handcuffs
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight

Sex, love, control, vanity
Sex, love, control, vanity
Sex, love, control, vanity (and the mirrors gonna fog tonight)
Sex, love, control, vanity (and the mirrors gonna fog tonight)
Sex, love, control, vanity (and the mirrors gonna fog tonight)
Sex, love, control, vanity (and the mirrors gonna fog tonight)
Vanity, vanity

Squeeze hard, hold that pose
You know I like it, do it
Sweetheart, I'm the boss
And when you get close to it
I'm gonna make tonight a show (oh, oh, oh)
I'll make your love grenade explode (na, na, na)

Turning the lights out
Burning the candles
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
Turning the lights out
Tighten the handcuffs
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight

Turning the lights out
Burning the candles
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
Turning the lights out
Tighten the handcuffs
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight

And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
And the mirror's gonna fog tonight
