OH MAN UNBELIEVABLE OXOXO YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!!!
I'm ready to write the whole post with Caps Lock on, but I'm a good girl, so I'll be polite and let you read an adequate text.
Sooo, as you may understand on reading the title, today I've start snowboarding for the very first time! I won't describe how it boiled down to my snowboarding today, I say only that I hadn't expected riding today. At least tomorrow, but the destiny decided "You shall not wait!" (fortunately, I'd decided to wear sport clothes) and here I went with the equipment rent at the place. BTW, I was given a super nice board, exactly for my style.
What a blizzard outside! Still my friend and I were crazy enough to try our luck at going to school. You see, we hadn't been called beforehand, that's why we didn't know whether to go or not, and being too responsible we went out struggling with the wind and the snow. Fortunately I even didn't reach the school as the friend called me and told to rush back home. So I can say I went out at 8 a.m. just to take a photo.
May I already be packing my suitcases, because Jamie Nicholls has just favourited my Tweet! #OMG And Ben Kilner has fafourited another. IMMA POPULAR BEOTCH
Also I chanced to watch ladies' snowboard cross, it was kinda dangerous! And highly interesting, BTW. So my congratulations are sent to Eva Samkova; I supported her sicne the qualification, she was absolutely awesome. Eva's known to draw funny moustaches before a run, so hilarious :)
Russian girls didn't participate in snowboard cross, but Russian boys will. Let's wish them luck even knowing Russian snowboarders suck. A bit.
Olympic news! As I wrote last week, I watched ladies slopestyle, my congratulations to Jamie Anderson won the 1st place!
Previous night I watch the whole contest for men's snowboarding halfpipe (yeah, I paid my night for that). 3 guys represented Russia, and they all sucked. So did famous Shaun White in the finals! It was surprisingly for everyone that he didn't win a medal gotten only the 4th place. And the winner was Iouri Podladtchikov representing Switzerland, though he was born in Mother Russia! A fascinating fact is Iouri's called IPod among all other snowboarders :D
To my mind, his appearance is immaculate. Just look
at that face!!
And awesome hugs with Shaun White!
I didn't dare miss one more night watching Olympics on line, so I've just started watching ladies' snowboarding halfpipe finals recorded. I don't care if I've already known the results, it's highly interesting to watch anyway.
Yooo, do you watch the Olympics? Sochi rocks!
Today my friend and I watched slopestyle snowboarding, and I literally fell for snowboarding! But even more I fell for the snowboarders. Girls, you must understand...
Billy Morgan, the UK
Jamie Nicholls, the UK
Sven Thorgren, Sweden
Of course, my congratulations to Sage Kotsenburg from the USA, who won the 1st gold medal (and 1st medal generally) of the Winter Games. You can see at the first sight - he's a superb professional!
'Cause I'm never gonna get these drums out of my head
And I'm never gonna get some sleep inside of my bed
And I'm sorry if good night is something I never said
From "Back To Life" by "3Oh!3"
2014 is coming up, so it's the time to come across what's happened to me this 2013 year. Surely, you can follow almost my every day, what I do, where I go, what I eat, but anyhow it's always kinda the honour to put an end to something, especially a whole year.
Hey there! My Sunday was full of various stuff, and here it goes.
In the morning (I can call it 'morning') my mom and I went to the shop because according to her she'd saw a nice dress for me (we still keep on looking for a dress for the prom). But mom turned out to pick dresses out for herself, and it made me mad! In the end I found a dress to try out (and even burst out crying in the fitting-room). The dress were too warm to be called "prom dress". Of course it was! - now Christmas time, and there are piles of dresses made of tough fabrics, they are meant to be worn in winter and autumn. But mom decided to made a New Year's present for me and bought it. Yey! Now I've got a new beautiful dress! It's so classy! But frankly the material, the dress is made of, reminds me a carpet LOL
What my happiness about the dress fell off, I started sewing... a skirt for my snowflake suit! I did it absolutely "hand-made", because I had no sewing-machine and didn't want to ask someone's help - if you want to do something well, do it yourself! And well, I did. But instead of a puffy skirt I got a tulip-form one - just because I sewed the layers in a wrong way. Anyway, it's pretty puff, but not in the way you may think of the snowflake. Maybe, tomorrow I'll try doing something else with the skirt, but it's unlikely.
My Markiza really liked the cloth
A ready-made skirt being fixed up
And here I am a snowflake! Couldn't help Instagramming. As you can see, I also decorated my top; earlier I bought white tights, and today I've bought white ballet shoes. This top silver bolero I bought 2 or 3 years ago, but yesterday I finally cut a flower off from it - snowflakes don't have flowers! And if you've mentioned this shining something on my head, so it's kinda a crown, fitting perfectly for snowflake's role.
While I was making my super skirt, my parents fixed our fir-tree up. It became so nice and festive! Even though our firs aren't so luxurious as there're in the USA, but still they're so fine and homey.
Today I've been informed my holy friend Ilya and I will participate in the region stage of the Olympiad for English. Atta guys!
The song of the day will be "Sexxx Dreams" by Lady Gaga from her latest album. I know I made it TSOTD already, but I've been listening to this song all day long and can do nothing with that.
I'm still a little bit angry with my friend, because I'm done with his jokes - they are stupid! So I didn't talk to him for a day, today I did, but it wasn't so friendly and happy as I'm used to talking to him. If he said "sorry", everything would be as it's meant to be. He tried to make me talk, but I'm humanitarian - one word can change my mind, but I haven't heard it yet. Besides, Dasha mentioned yesterday he wasn't so funny as usual, and told me he was sad because I put up a silent boycott. And I have to admit my guilty friend was also blue today. Well, I'm not the one to suffer. I understand it's foolish to take offense at idle jests and tricks, but you can guess there isn't only that stuff; like a storage counter I collect some mordant jokes and dumb acts, and then my mind blows up and I shout out "THAT'S ALL! I'M DONE. I DON'T TALK TO YOU ANYMORE!"
Moreover, I wasn't great at my English lesson, and it confused me a bit. I'm not about that my tutor criticizes me somehow, she never does; I'm about criticizing myself - I feel like I'm let down when I fail in the things I'm sure about.
And generally I never sleep enough.
But my day's had some good things too! Firstly, I was told I'll participate in the regional stage of the Olympiad for history. I was shocked and puzzled! Certainly, it's cool, but I always tell you I'm a jolly fool at history. No, it doesn't mean I won't take part in that amazing event. I have time to prepare.
One more awesome news is that we bought a fir-tree! We always but natural ones. In some day my mom and I will fix it up, and it'll be a cute Christmas tree, I'm sure. Yesterday Dasha and I also decorated a Christmas tree at school.

Yesterday's evening and today I spent with "Right There" by Ariana Grande feat. Big Sean. As it gets a normal thing, I didn't like the song for the first time. But then, even without listening to it, I started to hum it and couldn't stop. So yesterday I took a grip on myself, and here it goes! Marvellous Ariana and Naya Rivera's fiance represent us "Romeo And Juliette" story.
(If you wanna party, if you, if you wanna party)
Then put your hands up (put your hands up)
(If you wanna party, if, if, if you wanna party)
Then put your hands up (put your hands up)
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
[Big Sean:]
Sean Don!
Okay, this, this, this
For my number one girl
Who got the top spot title
Spent an hour in the bathroom
Walked out looking like a model,
God! Doing what you do,
Got me right there with Apollo,
On the moon (moon)
Who needs genies in a bottle girl
If they already got you
(Got you, I got you)
[Ariana:]
Boy you make me feel so lucky
Finally the stars align
Never has it been so easy
To be in love and to give you
This heart of mine
You know what I need (aye)
I know what you like, (aye)
Put it all together baby
We could be alright (hey)
How could this be wrong
When it feels so right
Yeah, I really love you
I really love you
And I'll never let you go...
You should know
I'm never gonna change
I'm always gonna stay
You call for me
I'm right there (right there)
Right there (right there)
Cause you listen and you care
You're so different
No one compares
And if you never change
I'm gonna stay right there
I'll always be right there
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
I get butterflies, just thinking
About you boy you're on my mind
Sometimes I catch myself daydreaming
Lost in your eyes and I lose all track of time
You know what I need (aye)
I know what you like, (aye)
Put it all together baby
We could be alright (hey)
How could this be wrong
When it feels so right
Yeah I really need you
I really love you
And I'll never let you go...
You should know
I'm never gonna change
I'm always gonna stay
You call for me
I'm right there (right there)
Right there (right there)
Cause you listen and you care
It's so different
No one compares
And if you never change
I'm gonna stay right there
I'll always be right there
[Big Sean:]
(What okay what)
Now if all fell through
Would you catch me before the pavement (what)
If my Benz turned back to public transportation
Would you still be at home for me with the candles waiting (what)
And get my mind back adjacent the place of a young visionary
A player too
You know I have some girls missionary (oh)
My black book
And numbers thicker than the dictionary
And Bible I got it recycled
I love and I like you
Five course meals even though you don't mind a drive-thru
Today's such a good day!
Only yesterday I was told I would participate in the 2nd step of municipal stage of English Olympiad. OH GOD And today I did it. The 2nd step means speaking - you need to make a monologue or a dialogue (or some mix of them) with a random partner. I was so nervous since the very morning, then I got a boy from the gymnasium to be my partner - it made me feel more anxious, because pupils from gymnasiums are usually better prepared for such competitions, and their knowledge is better and deeper. But the theme of conversation turned out to be pretty easy ("Mobile phones - a blessing or a curse?"), and during our dialogue I realized that I wasn't worse in English than the boy, we were pretty equal. But we misunderstood the task: instead of making monologues and than listening to each other's questions about that, we made a nice dialogue! The selection committee liked our dialogue, therefore let us just speak our monologue without any more question. The main thing for me was just to pretend that everything was ok and smile as wide as possible.
After the Olympiad I visited hairdressing saloon. And it's a big deal! Because, you know, I go to the hairdressing saloon maximum twice a year, last time I cut my hair right before going to the USA. And now I'd been done with my thin hair and split ends and decided it was time to make it look healthy. I write just "look", because it'll take a long time to make my hair look healthy as it is. Anyhow, now I've got a sweet hairstyle (nothing extraterrestrial, but I liked the way a hairdresser made it) and a new oil to try out for my poor hair.
After my English lesson I bought a present for my classmate ("third") Dasha. I hadn't known what to buy to her, but than I saw That Thing understood it was what I'd get. I think she'll like it, and I hope, she'll use it. But what is That Thing? Oooh, I won't tell until the time come.
Now I feel like doing nothing, reading, watching something and preparing for tomorrow's literature Olympiad at the same time. Probably, I'll have time to do everything little by little.
And the song of the day will be "Love Song" originally by Sara Bareilles, but I prefer the version by "Glee" girls.
Head under water
And they tell me to breathe easy for a while
The breathing gets harder, even I know that
Made room for me but it's too soon to see
If I'm happy in your hands
I'm unusually hard to hold on to
Blank stares at blank pages
No easy way to say this
You mean well, but you make this hard on me
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's make or break in this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving I'ma need a better reason to write you a love song today, today
I learned the hard way
That they all say things you want to hear
And my heavy heart sinks deep down under you and your twisted words,
Your help just hurts
You are not what I thought you were
Hello to high and dry
Convinced me to please you
Made me think that I need this too
I'm trying to let you hear me as I am
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's make or break in this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving I'ma need a better reason to write you a love song today
Promise me that you'll leave the light on
To help me see with daylight, my guide, gone
'cause I believe there's a way you can love me
Because I say
I won't write you a love song
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's make or break in this
Is that why you wanted a love song?
'cause you asked for it
'cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'cause you tell me it's make or break in this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If your heart is nowhere in it
I don't want it for a minute
Babe, I'll walk the seven seas when I believe that there's a reason to write you a love song today, today
This Monday, 25.11, the Olympiad week began again. But I'm not about Sochi 2014, but my annual Olympiads for school subjects. Now it's a municipal step. So, on Monday I wrote Russian, yesterday I participated in history, and today's been the English day.
Due to the fact that somehow our region is part of Russia, our Shitville is right now having the great honour of having the Olympics torch carried around the city. All my school and I had voluntary-compulsory to watch a torchbearer running.
