I Know You Believe In Me Too

I haven't written silly things for awhile. I've noticed that my recent posts about the accents and the role models turned out to be pretty successful, and it can't fail to be pleasant and motivating! While writing them I might not have done any researches, but I did put much more knowledge in them, more smart thoughts, less unnecessary information. I've been reading various writing tips, so focusing on one theme is one of them. I don't think I'm ready to focus my whole blog on one theme, but I should do for one certain post at least. For example, I did a post about being a role model - it was only about that, nothing else like "Hm, btw also, I bought new jeans a couple of days ago, and the weather isn't so fine, yeah". But I'm aware that I'm about to break this rule right here right now - I do want to put my latest news and little thoughts and emotions and notes here at once. One famous Russian YouTuber Kate Clapp shoots videos every Friday in which she talks about everything that comes to her mind and happens in her life, just many little facile topics she'd like to discuss but that aren't worth a separate video. That's what I want to do too! Yes, I might tell myself not to write about worthless stuff, but I feel the need, I feel eager about that. So haters gonna hate - even the heater inside myself - and I'm gonna do whatever I do in my own freaking blog. Period.

So haters gonna hate - even the heater inside myself - and I'm gonna do whatever I do in my own freaking blog. Period.

Oh yes, you might have noticed that my blog became wider and I have just used that strange quotation feature. One more yes. I don't only develop my writing skills but also experiment with the site itself. I try to make it more readable and more interesting. And not so long ago I found the source of my inspiration - Mark Manson's blog. Mr. Manson puts himself as "Author. Thinker. Life Enthusiast.", and he is indeed. I found him with one of my Facebook friend's sharing, and now I can't help appreciating this blog. I like Manson's style of writing first of all - it's so easy-going and sarcastic from time to time, and still serious enough. He opens subjects I'm interested in such as traveling, the crux of relationships or procrastination. Moreover, Mr. Manson is very attached to his readers and frequently makes us, readers, happy with e-mails with new material or asking about something. The most amazing thing is that the author isn't too busy yet not to answer the letters from his fans. I would answer too, if I was written, though. A long-long time ago I used to do such a tag as VERY INTERESTING BLOG. And I think this paragraph is a very good example. So go, read Mark Manson's blog and learn some lessons!

Yesterday Tatyana and I went to a yoga class held on our campus. We tried one class last year, but we didn't like it. Usually, we practice yoga ourselves with the help of YouTube videos. While the temperature was warm enough, we did yoga outside, now we practice it inside conformably. We do it for our own pleasure only, nobody forced us. My friend and I really find joy in doing yoga, and we can see our bodies change for the better. But of course, we can't be totally sure if we do the poses right, and we always search for new ways of developing our physical skills. That's why yesterday we went to that yoga class - to try something new. And we liked it! First of all, I liked the instructor. Our local yogi was a young man, 3rd-year handsome student, who immediately made a good impression by reaching out his hand to me, as I walked into the room, saying, "Hi, I'm Vanya, what's your name?" No class can be bad with a charming teacher, especially when you came to that class on your own. There were not so many of us: the instructor, 4 other girls, Tatyana and me. The room was all white, and I paid my attention to that right when I came in - white is my favorite color, you know (and red). The practice itself was intense enough for my body to hurt today, and that hasn't happened for awhile. But it means that I had some really nice training. So Tatyana and I agreed on attending that yoga class once a week and be great with it.

I think I never wrote about what I bought myself as present for my birthday! I received a couple of gift cards to my favorite shops from Cherry Lady and Andrew, so I bought the presents on them though I had to pay in excess anyway. So my main purchase turned out to be... the latest Beyonce's fragrance Heat Kissed! The funny thing is that I bought it without even trying it because there was no tester. But when I opened the box and finally smelled the perfume, I loved it! And Cherry Lady loved it too because her own fragrance smells very similar.

Another gift I treated myself with was a plush cat toy, the famous Internet Pusheen the cat! Yes, that's what being 29 is like - you buy luxurious perfumes and plush toys. So, talking about Pusheen, I'm so into this character! I enjoy scrolling the pictures - isn't it funny and cute? And when I opened the official online store, I was shocked - so many items with Pusheen the cat! But I'm not sure if my cat toy is an official one. And, by the way, to defense myself, this Pusheen in my only plush toy in the dormitory. Now I can't help joking about me being a cat lady. Not so funny, tbh, you know.

Cherry Lady took a photo of embarrassingly
happy me with my new toy
AND to finish this amusing post (and to let me finish my homework, frankly speaking) I feel like sharing the song of the day. Let it be... 3 songs! Because I haven't put any songs for some time and I'm known to always have something to listen to. My recent discovery is a bilingual track by the Australian singer Josef Salvat called Open Season (Une Autre Saison). I've known this singer before, I still like his song Hustler. But Open Season is much more positive, though. This song has the English-only version, but I like this English-French mix. Sometimes you can't even tell when Josef changes the languages, the track sounds so good. And the title of this post is one of this song's lines! Check it out!

Another choice is Papercut by Zedd featuring Troy Sivan. I heard this song on the plane to LA while listening to the whole Zedd's album True Colors, so I associate Papercut as well as all the other songs from the record with the city of angels and my great travel.

Not a fan of club music? I've got something for you too. The last song is going to be a slow, melancholic track Over You by Ingrid Michaelson featuring A Great Big World. It's so beautiful and sad at the same time. And I say no more.

Sweater Weather In July

Oh man, long time - no see! So much to tell you about! I'll try to make it short but still full enough - will I handle it? I hope I will while having my inspiration. I'll throw away all this describing stuff about dates or something till my travel information - there's gonna be a separated post about it. I hope.
So, first of all is my camp work! It was mind-blowing! I worked with children at the average age of 11. They didn't have any specific serious problems like older kids had ("I'm so fat!!" or "Nobody talks to me" or "I broke my arm lol") but all together they were SO NOISY! NOISY AF! Teachers from other teams told us we were the noisiest. I know it boils down to the age in the end, but anyhow.  Moreover, we had the biggest team - all teams included like 20 people, and our team were made of 24! And it had its weight! Sometimes I was on the edge of crying, especially when they laughed in front of me while I was reproaching them. That was total disrespect! And they couldn't hold the line while walking (it was important for them to feel each other as a team and it was an easier way to control them for us as the teachers). And they couldn't prepare a task for the event themselves. But in the end they were nice and fine. In the end we won "The Best Team" award!!! They were my first children, and I'm glad I worked with them. Now I know what I did wrong, what I did right, what I should add and what I should cancel. But of course I didn't do it all on my own. I had a lovely co-worker Dorothy and our helper Dora. It was the first time for Dora too, but Dorothy had already had pretty big experience of working in the camp. And the other teachers from the other teams were awesome. I can even admit that I got attached not to the children, but to the teachers. Everyday we had different events for the children and then the teachers had some fun in their own after the kids fall asleep. No doubt I'll work next summer too, though I'd like to have a team of older children. And nowadays while we have some days till studying I'm going to help to the teachers in the camp who work in the last 3rd summer term.

I used to borrow bats from older teens to make my children
obey me. No, I didn't beat them! :D
Teachers' nights out
My noisy team
Then I went to my hometown of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk for like 18 days or something, and all my rest there was like "Today I'm seeing her, tomorrow I'll meet up with him. Oh, it's nice that I met them yesterday - no need to plan a meeting with them anymore". My first day in YS was pretty interesting. I had never told my bestie Dasha that I would come in July, so I decided to make her a surprise. When I arrived home, I got sure through our texts that she was home doing nothing. I quickly prepared, went to shop for a bottle of wine and headed to her place. When I knocked on her door, I closed the peephole with my hand, so she wouldn't see me. When my friend asked "Who's there?", I answered "Surprise for Daria Rozhkova!", but she never opened. So I took my hand away from the peephole, and when Dasha finally opened the door, she yelled my last name and hugged me I couldn't breathe :D Cool, huh?
Of course I also tried to spend as much time with my parents as I could because I came to YS in July only because of them. For example, my mother, her god daughter and I went to the mountains on my mom's day off. It was so marvellous! It was tough to crawl up the mountain, but it was worth it. The view was amazing, so my poor phone camera couldn't catch all the beauty.

And yeah, I dyed my hair's ends red again!
Though it has already washed away by now

And I met some people I didn't meet during the winter holidays. Well, even though my home vacation was really short, but it was enough. I would add some days, maybe, but 4 weeks would be too much already, I would become boring and all the vacation would grow into drink-sleep-drink system. Moreover, July in YS wasn't warm; it wasn't even cool - IT WAS COLD AS HELL! I had to put on my mother's sweaters (because I didn't take any warm clothes with me) not to get cold. It was nonsense! Sweaters in July! What?? You see, I still can't get over it. My mom suggested me coming to my hometown in August after my travel abroad too, but I refused - it would take too much money, so I'd better save it in Vladivostok.

MY LOOOOVEEEEE I really miss my cat
*still hopes not to become a cat lady some day*

And after my hometown little vacation I went on a travel to... TO BE CONTINUED IN THE NEXT POST.
Intrigued, huh?:D Well, I'm still not sure whether I told you or not about the destination of my awesome trip, but no matter what I'm about to give you a little hint. [I know that my true readers, they all m]know about, hmm, everything, but still maybe there's someone who doesn't know?] And the hint is gonna be the song of the day, actually [or 'of the summer' though], because it suits July's condition, it was on my mind during all my travel 'cause it just fits and it's simply a good song by The Neighbourhood called "Sweater Weather".

All I am is a man
I want the world in my hands
I hate the beach
But I stand
In California with my toes in the sand
Use the sleeves of my sweater
Let's have an adventure
Head in the clouds but my gravity's centered
Touch my neck and I'll touch yours
You in those little high-waisted shorts, oh

She knows what I think about
And what I think about
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I wouldn't wanna tell you about, no

'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater

And if I may just take your breath away
I don't mind if there's not much to say
Sometimes the silence guides our minds
So move to a place so far away
The goose bumps start to raise
The minute that my left hand meets your waist
And then I watch your face
Put my finger on your tongue
'Cause you love to taste, yeah

These hearts adore
Everyone the other beats hardest for
Inside this place is warm
Outside it starts to pour

Coming down
One love, two mouths
One love, one house
No shirt, no blouse
Just us, you find out
Nothing that I wouldn't wanna tell you about, no, no, no

[2x]
'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater

Whoa, whoa...
Whoa, whoa... whoa
Whoa, whoa... [2x]

'Cause it's too cold
For you here and now
So let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater

It's too cold
For you here and now
Let me hold
Both your hands in the holes of my sweater

It's too cold,
It's too cold
The holes of my sweater...

Exams' Results. The Chorus Is Over. Dangerous Party

When the friends are gone,
When the party's over,
We will still belong to each other.
Shakira, "Underneath You Clothes"

My friends and I count the days till new results coming. So lately we received our results for the Russian examination, and I gained 87 points of 100. You can't deny, it's such a good result, but I was... frustrated. I was disappointed, because I'd aimed at the score over 90, therefore certainly I flipped out on getting something less than would-be-my 90. But anyhow my mind understands 87 is a proper thing, so now I'm not so annoyed with my frustration. BTW, my friend and OTR Ilya got a perfect result, all 100 of 100 points for Russian. My congratulations to him, though I've already told him I think it's a matter of luck, so he was lucky enough to get his excellent variant of the test... As well as this luck worked for me during the English test! Well, I didn't get 100 points, but I got... 93! The results were announced only this morning, so you get the latest information :). Coming back to the talk about the results, I must remind you that I overslept the day of the English examination and hardly got there on time! Mom said, I should've overslept for every exam LOL. And what about Ilya, he received 85, that's why I said I was lucky that time. Our examinations in the form of the tests are a big lottery, you never know for sure what you get. So, this morning is the best morning of the month let it be 'week', because I still have to wait for the math result. But on getting the English results I already can forethink if I will enter the university of my dream. And yes, there are educational programmes suitable for my final score (253) and for my decisions about what I wanna do in the future. According to my mom again, now we'll shiver till the math results, than we'll shiver until official entering the university. Will I ever keep calm and carry on?
The next part of my post is that I ended up with attending my chorus. I can't say that it was sentimental and I was sad to leave it. Hell no, I'm done, you - fuck, I'll finally live my new own life. I told you, I'd been dragged in the chorus, because its header had been my teacher in my music school. So I couldn't say no; it was a nightmare in the beginning and a routine in the end. Sometimes attending the chorus was really cool, especially when we had parties, trips abroad and when I was paid money. I found new friends there also and didn't stop singing, thank them for it.
But the biggest thing of this week is a superb party in da house that has just finished. On 12.06 my parents went to visit my sister in another town, and I told them I'd bring my friend Dasha for the night. We ended up drinking vodka with Sprite with about 11 people floating around my flat. Well, it wasn't accidentally, Dasha and I had planned the party beforehand, though we didn't know my flat would be free for all of us to party there. And so we drank. Moreover, we played Twister (right now I hate it, I feel the most painful pain (I remember this expression of mine, beotches) within my body), and I played it as I do - the hardcore mode. But the most hardcore mode was when our friend Kostya decided to take revenge on me... at 8 a.m. Of course, I gave up in 3 minutes, because my arms and legs couldn't hold me for long! Also, my mom always teaches me not to compete with the men (but I always do). What about the party, so we had a couple of walks to the shop during the night, it was so funny. Just imagine, you come to a shop at 2:30 a.m.(!) to buy a bottle of Sprite, some pasta and a chewing gum. WHT?! But "that's just how we do". Also, that night we were a real trouble for my neighbors, though I don't think we were that loud. Different neighbors twice came to my flat complaining that we were partying too hard and should wrap that sht up. Now I can't believe that at my birthday party we were quieter and didn't disturb the neighbors (that night they didn't come up to our place). Anyhow, thanks to God, the police or something wasn't called. Well, in my opinion, it all boils down to thin old walls causing great acoustic transmission. When there's no sound resource in my flat, I can listen to the music at my neighbors' place. But coming the neighbors complaining, doesn't it prove the awesomeness of our party?

My cat liked our guest
How we went out at 2:30 p.m.
Night shop walker. Look into these drunk eyes!

My friend didn't give a thang
where to lie down
My cat had fun too
BTW, at the first Twister game I was so close to tear a nail off my right thumb! I just wasn't careful enough how to place my hand, so I even had to cool my thumb down not to let it bleed. Extremely hardcore!
By the morning of 13.06 the half of the gang had gone home or anywhere else, we tried to sleep, went to the shop, had the Twister revenge and more and more... Of course, almost all of us felt the baddest because of the hangover, moreover I've already written about the pain after the Twister. Ah, when I understood it was the hangover, I started singing "Hungover" by my favourite band "3Oh!3". How come I can remember songs and their lyrics even being deeply drunk and than hungover?

Wake up 9 – maybe 10
Depending how my head is feeling
Every step that I take is rattling the ceiling
Take a breath - brush my teeth
Smell like death – even bleach can’t erase the taste of last night
I got holes in my clothes
Someone’s sweatshirt – who knows what I did…

When you came over
I shoulda stayed sober
And then I got the cold shoulder
Now you know you’re the reason every time I feel hungover

Please don’t call – please don’t text
Because my phone is dead anyways
Shut the shades – close the door
And I’ll see you in a couple days
Did we kiss, did we fight?
There’s a bit of the night that I might not remember
There’s a burn on my coat
Cigarettes on my throat
I don’t know what we did

When you came over
I shoulda stayed sober
And then I got the cold shoulder
Now you know you’re the reason every time I feel hungover

Now my wallet is gone
Find missed calls on my phone
Now my exes all know that I’m lonely
Woke up with a tattoo
It looks bad but that’s cool
Cuase it reminds me of the shit that we did

When you came over
I shoulda stayed sober
And then I got the cold shoulder
Now you know you’re the reason every time I feel hungover

Well, it wasn't the end. In the afternoon I called my parents to find out they were to stay at my sister's place for another night! It meant Dasha could take another sleepover with me, and so that's what she did. We did some chores and then kicked back to watch the gorgeous "Maleficent"... in the pirate quality LOL. The movie was fine, really beautiful, Angelina was the chicest, but the talk is not about it. So, during the film we were joined by Kostya, and then... the electricity was shut off. You'll know why below, and while we were out of the Internet, we played cards and did absolutely nothing, just lied around without even saying a word. When the electricity was back, we watched a couple of films, drank some cups of tea (on typing this word the electricity was shut off again, FU!) and went to bed the sofa. Remember, we hadn't slept the night before, so there's no surprise why we had a sleepy after-party and didn't prevent ourselves from sleeping during this night. And when we woke up today, everything was also pretty prosaic. Well, I was woken up by my dad's call, then Kostya told the English (and physics for Kostya) results had been announced, so we all couldn't sleep after knowing it. Kostya cooked our breakfast, we made my flat, and that was done. The only loss of my party is a glass broken at the first night. Well, it was my dad's favourite one, so I turned our to be tricky enough to make up a story how I had broken it OOPS. Fortunately, after coming home my parents believed my words, and that glass was outshone by my breaking news about the exam's result. Here comes the part where I feel like telling you why our electricity was shut off. The whole week we've been having the worst weather for "hot summer nights" and days as well. It's been raining, "but there ain't no stopping, 'cause it's you and me against the world", the sky is so grey and gloomy, strong wind, so the only point to go out seem to be buying a bottle of Sprite, some pasta and a chewing gum. Time to time the weather become tired and slow it down, but sometimes it rises up and you'd better get our of its way! That's what I can see out of my windows:

OMG Are those cars all identical?? O_O

Well, this is it. I leave you with all this burden and one more song I run int recently. It's another hit by famous Psy featuring unbelievable Snoop Dog. I couldn't leave you without this song because it's called... "Hangover".

Be brave to get over the hangover

P.S. I like this rhyming expression!
P.P.S. To my mind, "Hangover" is the most adequate thing by Psy IMHO.

Vampire Academy In The City

Today's weather is a drizzling sht, but it didn't prevent me from having a walk. Plus, with this walk I got my pinafore - an important part of the last bell event. Usually the last bell is celebrated on the 25th of May, but our one will be held on 23th, I guess, because this year the 25th is Sunday. On the eve of the last bell our school has a tradition to hold the Day of Childhood - the day when the seniors have the craziest fun dressed up like - you wouldn't believe - children, playing with primary school pupils and all that jazz. I hope we'll rock that place, dammit. And here's my whole dress for the upcoming last bell! My cat liked it as well :3

Also in the cosmetics shop I mentioned a fragrance with a weird name - "lol ;-)" by Lulu Castagnette. Yup, the box is really funny and - #OMG - lol, but the perfume itself is too sweet! Like they stuffed all the sweetest candies in the world, then shook it in a good way and added a fragrance booster.

Yesterday I watched "Vampire Academy". If I weren't a pubertal 17-year-old girl, I wouldn't gave a thing about this movie. But yes, I am, and there is our Russian pride called Danila Kizlovsky in his sexiest, getting all the beotches down. And us with them.
So, "Vampire Academy" is a story about two friends-not-human-beings and how they struggle with the dark side generally and the darkest side in our life ever - high school. A drawback of it all is that till the end of the movie you can't make out who the fuck is a dhampire, a moroi and a strigoi. So, before the world you know was like it is: there are vampires and that's all. Maybe, some original vampires - if you know what I mean. But Richelle Mead, the author of VA series, decided HELL NO and put the half of Romanian mythology under one cover. And don't forget to follow who defends whom, who eats whom, who is badass and who sucks.
Generally and honestly, it's not a super-great film as Harry Potter series or even Twilight saga (yeah, must admit). But still "Vampire Academy" is such a nice story with an obvious sequel. I would compare this story with "Rubinrot" (even IMDb recommends "Rubinrot" when you open "VA" page). The both movies are based on the books from the series that is all about to be filmed. And also I don't know when to expect the next part of "Ruby Red" or "Vampire Academy", but I know I'll be pleased watching both of them.

Danila as Dimitri and Zoey Deutch as Rose.
Control your orgasms.
Our another pride - Olga Kurylenko
as Headmistress Ellen Kirova

Also I try to prepare for my exams which are going to start so soon SO SOON! I can't even image how nervous I'm going to be. So, be ready for the posts like "I'M GONNA DIE!" So.... be brave.
The song of the day will be one good old song "In The City" by Kevin Rudolf.

And once again - be brave! :3

My New Smartphone

Hi!
Sorry for not writing for so long, but you know how lazy I am. But I must assure you there weren't so many exciting things I would never miss to write. Maybe, only that on Monday I participated in the competition dedicated to the BDay of the Hermitage and that on Wednesday I received my VAT number. But since I got the most wonderful news, I couldn't hold up writing for no longer.

Olympic Guys And Girl With The Guitar

Yooo, do you watch the Olympics? Sochi rocks!
Today my friend and I watched slopestyle snowboarding, and I literally fell for snowboarding! But even more I fell for the snowboarders. Girls, you must understand...

Billy Morgan, the UK
Jamie Nicholls, the UK
Sven Thorgren, Sweden
Of course, my congratulations to Sage Kotsenburg from the USA, who won the 1st gold medal (and 1st medal generally) of the Winter Games. You can see at the first sight - he's a superb professional!

Off We Christmas

If you keep on reading my super-duper blog, you must know that today, the 7th of January, is the Orthodox Christmas. And, unfortunately or not, I don't Christmas hard as I actually could. I don't even plan for having a walk today, but who knows, my day has only started (for the record, I'm typing it on 5:46 p.m.).

New Dress. Being Snowflake.

Hey there! My Sunday was full of various stuff, and here it goes.
In the morning (I can call it 'morning') my mom and I went to the shop because according to her she'd saw a nice dress for me (we still keep on looking for a dress for the prom). But mom turned out to pick dresses out for herself, and it made me mad! In the end I found a dress to try out (and even burst out crying in the fitting-room). The dress were too warm to be called "prom dress". Of course it was! - now Christmas time, and there are piles of dresses made of tough fabrics, they are meant to be worn in winter and autumn. But mom decided to made a New Year's present for me and bought it. Yey! Now I've got a new beautiful dress! It's so classy! But frankly the material, the dress is made of, reminds me a carpet LOL

What my happiness about the dress fell off, I started sewing... a skirt for my snowflake suit! I did it absolutely "hand-made", because I had no sewing-machine and didn't want to ask someone's help - if you want to do something well, do it yourself! And well, I did. But instead of a puffy skirt I got a tulip-form one - just because I sewed the layers in a wrong way. Anyway, it's pretty puff, but not in the way you may think of the snowflake. Maybe, tomorrow I'll try doing something else with the skirt, but it's unlikely.

My Markiza really liked the cloth

A ready-made skirt being fixed up

And here I am a snowflake! Couldn't help Instagramming. As you can see, I also decorated my top; earlier I bought white tights, and today I've bought white ballet shoes. This top silver bolero I bought 2 or 3 years ago, but yesterday I finally cut a flower off from it - snowflakes don't have flowers! And if you've mentioned this shining something on my head, so it's kinda a crown, fitting perfectly for snowflake's role.

While I was making my super skirt, my parents fixed our fir-tree up. It became so nice and festive! Even though our firs aren't so luxurious as there're in the USA, but still they're so fine and homey.

Today I've been informed my holy friend Ilya and I will participate in the region stage of the Olympiad for English. Atta guys!
The song of the day will be "Sexxx Dreams" by Lady Gaga from her latest album. I know I made it TSOTD already, but I've been listening to this song all day long and can do nothing with that.

Be brave! Have nice dreams!
