When You're Around Me

I'm the one who left you, you're not the one who left me
Marina And The Diamonds, "Radioactive"

I've spent all day at home, therefore I've watched some things.
Firstly, I watched Shakespeare's play "Much Ado About Nothing" starring adorable David Tennant and lovely Catherine Tate with Russian subs, of course. What a wonderful thing! "Digital Theatre" recorded it, so now everyone can watch British theatre performances, thanks to them. Well, "Much Ado About Nothing" is a comedy about the whims of life and love; David and Catherine are absolutely brilliant there! The play is hilarious. And Tom Bateman played Claudio was awesome. It's one  more confirmation that David Tennant and Catherine Tate are totally amazing actors. Love them

After the play I watched a movie "Monte Carlo" with Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, new for me Katie Cassidy, Glee's Cory Monteith and Catherine Tate again! The story's about three girls having adventures in France. One thing I must admit being a girl is the guys are handsome. And I liked Leighton Meester there.

And yesternight I watched "Valentine's Day" by Garry Marshall starring many many many people. Garry Marshall also made "New Year's Eve" even after "Valentine's Day", so the structure is the same - some stories connected with each other. I want to mark out Ashton Kutcher, he's sweet again, and Bradley Cooper with... an interesting and unexpected character. Generally I really loved the movie and was crying as a little bitch.

Tomorrow the first rehearsal for the Japan trip will be. I hope I'll learn everything easily.
Moreover, the last week in my city in June starts. Let me prepare to the U.S.A.!
And the song of the day will be "Radioactive" by fabulous Marina And The Diamonds. When I heard it for the 1st time, I didn't like the song; but I listened to it one more time yesterday and fell in love.

Lying on a fake beach
You'll never get a tan
Baby I'm gonna leave you drowning until you reach for my hand

In the night your heart is full and by the morning empty
But baby I'm the one who left you, you're not the one who left me

[Chorus]
When you’re around me, I’m radioactive
My blood is burning, radioactive
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive
My heart is nuclear
Love is all that I feel
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive

Waiting for the night fall, for my heart to light up
Oh baby I want you to die for, for you to die for my love

In the night your heart is full and by the morning empty
But baby I'm the one who left you, you're not the one who left me

[Chorus]
When you’re around me, I’m radioactive
My blood is burning, radioactive
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive
My heart is nuclear
Love is all that I feel
Ready to be let down
Now I’m heading for a meltdown

[Bridge]
Tonight I feel like neon gold
I take one look at you and I grow cold
And I grow cold...
And I grow cold...

[Chorus]
When you’re around me, I’m radioactive
My blood is burning, radioactive
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive
My heart is nuclear
Love is all that I feel
Ready to be let down
Now I’m heading for a meltdown

Secrets Away

I've just run into one of my favourite songs "Secret" by my 3rd favourite band "OneRepublic" and it's given me inspiration. TSOTD
What's a secret? What does it mean? By the dictionary "secret" is something kept hidden or separate from the knowledge of others. But when you tell your secret to a person, and then the person tells it to other people with the phrase "Shhh, it's her secret", and everybody knows your secret, but you don't know they know, is your secret still a secret?
Why do people have secrets? Because of shame? And I don't talk about the crimes. I think, we have secrets because we're afraid of people's reaction, we're afraid to be laughed at or let down. For example, I hadn't tell to my friends about this blog for a long time till a friend of mine found it. So now it's not a big deal if someone from my environment reads it, I'm rather glad, but I still don't walk with transparencies shouting out "Hey, you! I've got a blog!". On the other hand another person, who wants his blog read, would promote it among the closest people, but not me. Or sometimes we hide something not to spark troubles.
In some cases we just don't want to tell information to people, mostly it happens when we're having bad mood. Having good mood we could tell the same things openly, but when we're 'behind a wall', it turns out like "no, it's not a secret, but I don't wanna talk about it, dude".
What the use of this stuff? I lead to my thought, that we should separate things we should always keep inside ourselves from the things which could help to get success with something, to show us to the world, but we're too shy to open them.
Today I've been on the wedding of the girl from our chorus. We congratulate her singing song for her and with her. She's been so beautiful and happy! I've come up with the thought I'll rock the fuck out at my wedding.
Also today my friend from the South Korea has had to come to our city, but I don't know if she's already here.
As I've said above, the song of the day today is "Secrets" by adorable "OneRepublic". You know the song's a soundtrack for some movies and series, one of them is "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" with legendary Nicolas Cage.

I need another story
Something to get off my chest
My life gets kinda boring
Need something that I can confess

'Til all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said
Come by it honestly I swear
Thought you saw me wink, no
I've been on the brink, so

Tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

My God, amazing how we got this far
It's like we're chasing all those stars
Who's driving shiny big black cars
And everyday I see the news
All the problems that we could solve

And when a situation rises
Just write it into an album
Send it straight to gold
But I don't really like my flow, no, so

Tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

Oh, got no reason, got no shame
Got no family I can blame
Just don't let me disappear
I'ma tell you everything

So tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away

So tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away

This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
All my secrets away, all my secrets away

One O Six

Today I'm a hero, because I've done big tidying up in my room. Yes! But yet no, because I haven't found my wire. Anyway, my room is clean, my window is clear, kindness is everywhere.
Last night I've watched "The Hangover: Part III", but I had to do it with Chinese subtitles. No, there was Russian dub, but also Chinese hieroglyphs brought their own vibe. I agree with the people who tell there're less jokes in the 3rd part, but I like the film and the whole story of the guys in any case. Bradley Cooper is sex. I hope there'll be the 4th part, even though they say "The Hangover" is a trilogy.

Tomorrow I'll have the last English lesson in this season, therefore I'm learning lots of words for tomorrow's tests.
Right now I'm gonna play The Sims 3 and make my girl drunk LOL
The song of the day will be a nice song "One O Six" by Jupiter. Get disco!

Cat's Birthday

Yesterday it was a national day in Russia, and the chorus and I performed 2 times. The weather was hot, and I'd eaten badly, so I felt myself not so well in the end.
Today I've had a walk with my music friend, and I've found a good shoes in the shop, so I should go there once again, because I have an aim. I need fine shoes, not trainers, not flat sole and not high heels too. Something between and for travelling. So I've seemed to find them in "Columbia".
Tomorrow I'll have a big tidying up in my tiny room. It's a big thing for me, because I have a store rather a room. Fortunately, I have a goal to find my camera's wire.
I'm so nervous and excited, that I'll go to the USA in a week! But we still know nothing about our visas, and when we know, it'll be the time to fly! WTF, consulate?!
Also today is a great day for my dearest cat, because she has her 5th Birthday today! Yey! Even though she bites terribly, but she's amazing anyway :3
I love my cat ("I love that girl")

And the song of the day will be a song with a beautiful melody and a sad lyrics about a prostitute on drugs. So this song is "The A Team", which brought popularity to a fine British guy and nice singer Ed Sheeran.

White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries

And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cos we're just under the upperhand
And go mad for a couple of grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly

Ripped gloves, raincoat
Tried to swim and stay afloat
Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes
Weary-eyed, dry throat
Call girl, no phone

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries

And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cos we're just under the upperhand
And go mad for a couple of grams
But she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white
Closed eye
And hoping for a better life
This time, we'll fade out tonight
Straight down the line

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
They scream
The worst things in life come free to us
And we're all under the upperhand
Go mad for a couple of grams
And we don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe we fly to the Motherland
Or sell love to another man
It's too cold
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
To fly, fly
Angels to fly, to fly, to fly
Angels to die

The Lullaby Of The Lost Generation

As I planned, I've just finish reading "The Great Gatsby" by F. S. Fitzgerald, consistently ranked among the greatest works of American literature. I've read it easy, because in my oppinion the film coincides enough with the book. Of course there're some small interesting things, such as a fact that Tom's blond, a scene with introducing Daisy's daughter Pammy to Nick and Jay, dialoges between Nick and Jordan (she's actually blond too), a long episode of Gatsby's funeral and Carraway's thoughs after that. To tell the truth, the description of the funeral with my imagination has made me feel down. But I'm glad I've read it. I dare to compare the novel with Mikhail Lermontov's "A Hero Of Our Time", draw a parallel between these two books; after all, Jay Gatsby was a hero of the Jazz Age. The whole novel depicts the "Lost Generation" in a wonderful way.
Talking about the jazz, so the song of the day will be a beautiful song "Lullaby Of Birdland" by the Queen of Jazz Ella Fitzgerald. Why did she have the same surname as Francis Scott? I don't know, because the main thing here is the song.

Oh, lullaby of birdland that's what I
Always hear, when you sigh,
Never in my wordland could there be ways to reveal
In a phrase how I feel

Have you ever heard two turtle doves
Bill and coo when they love?
That's the kind of magic music we get from our lips
When we kiss

And there's a weepy old willow
He really knows how to cry
That's how I'd cry in my pillow
If you could tell me and just say goodbye

Lullaby of birdland whisper low
Kiss me sweet, and we'll go
Flying high in birdland, high in the sky up above
All because we're in love

Lullaby, Lullaby

Have you ever heard two turtle doves
Bill and coo when they love?
That's the kind of magic music we make get from our lips
When we kiss

And there's a weepy old willow
He really knows how to cry
That's how I'd cry in my pillow
If you could tell me and just say goodbye

Lullaby of birdland whisper low
Kiss me sweet, and we'll go
Flying high in birdland, high in the sky up above
All because we're in love

Coming back to our lost generation, so I've also watched the secong part of "The Hangover". It has many links to the 1st part, so probably it's the reason why many people like "The Hangover Part II" most: old jokes + new jokes = twice jokes. Maybe, I'll chance to go to the cinema for "The Hangover Part III", who knows...

And guys! Today's the Birthday of my Tumblr blog! It's been a year already since my hair started to bring mess into the world. Hey! :D

On this inspiring note I'm leaving you. Be brave!

All I Know Since Yesterday

All I know is a simple name
Teylor Swift feat. Ed Sheeran,
"Everything Has Changed"

Today was better that I'd though, and it's all beacuse I had shopping-time today! And an amazing thing become mine is a book "The Great Gatsby" by Francis Scott Fitzgerald (now I'm imagining Tom Hiddleston as Mr. Fitzgerald from "The Midnight in Paris") with the poster of the film with the same name on the cover. And I bet you tomorrow I'll finish reading the book, because today I've already started, and now there's only 20 minutes left till tomorrow. So wait for the review!

Tomorrow I'll have my English lesson, what means I'll have some serious tests. Sure, it's not school, but anyway I don't wanna be a loser.
Last night I watched "The Hangover", the 1st part. I came up with the idea "At least, I should watch where [Vegas] I'm gonna be". Oh yeah, these guys are really great! Even though it was about 4 a.m., I couldn't help laughing. This night I'm going to watch the second part.

Talking about the U.S.A., so do you know how amazing my way there is? I'll go to Khabarovsk where I join my group, then we'll go to  Beijin, spend there a night, and after that we'll fly to LAX. But today my mom and I were told, that there's another way - we have a chance to fly to Hong Kong instead of Beijin , but it all depends on the organizers and U.S. consulate still preparing our visas. Frankly speaking, I'd like to visit Hong Kong, although we'd spend there only a night in a hotel, but I've already been in Beijin and its airport, and seen it from the height of the sky. And I've not done it with Hong Kong. But I'd better end up with the thought that my final spot is LA, and we should rich it no matter how.
Today morning I decided to listen to and fall for an adorable song by country-queen Taylor Swift and red British guy Ed Sheeran called "Everything Has Changed". Yes yes, here am I, sweet vanilla Olga, easily jumping from "AC/DC" to Taylor Swift and back. But you know my obsession to British men, so deal with it. Welcome the song of the day with the cutest music video.

All I knew this morning when I woke
Is I know something now
Know something now I didn't before
And all I've seen
Since 18 hours ago
Is green eyes and freckles and your smile
In the back of my mind making me feel right
I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you know you know you

‘Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name, everything has changed
All I know is we held the door
You'll be mine and I’ll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed

And all my walls stood tall painted blue
But I’ll take them down, take them down and open up the door for you
And all I feel in my stomach is butterflies the beautiful kind
Making up for lost time, taking flight, making me feel right

I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you know you know you

‘Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name, everything has changed
All I know is we held the door
You'll be mine and I’ll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed

Come back and tell me why
I'm feeling like I’ve missed you all this time
And meet me there tonight
And let me know that it's not all in my mind

I just want to know you better know
You better know you better now
I just want to know you know you know you

‘Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name, everything has changed
All I know is we held the door
You'll be mine and I’ll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed

All I know is we said hello
So dust off your highest hopes
All I know is pouring rain
And everything has changed
All I know is a newfound brightness
All my days, I’ll know your face
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed

Sleepless and Limitless Night Of The Great Gatsby

A night with my friend went brilliant! We had much fun, watching films and singing our favourite songs aloud so loud.
The first movie we'd watched was OH MY GOD "The Great Gatsby". If I watched the film earlier I would write a big good post about it. But all the articles have been already written, so I have to say only that I totally fell for this movie, Leonardo DiCaprio played Mr. Gatsby so amazing, music's fantastic (yeah, you know). I've also always admired that time - the beggining of the XX century. I stop here.

The second movie we'd watched was "Limitless". What a cool film too! The plot's about magic pills making your brains work with all their power instead of regular 20%. I wish I had some those pills! But unfortunately they capture you like drugs.

I keep on telling everyone my awsome story about my travel to Vladivostok. Noone can believe I had to fly there only to make the finger-prints.
Soon our friend, ex-classmate Yulia will arrive here. Now she lives and studies in the South Korea, but on the holidays she visits her parents and us. Frankly I won't have a lot of time to spend with her, because I'll go to the U.S.A in some days after her arrival. And ouh, I'll depart exactly on her birthday.
And the song of the day will be a song by my favourite adorable Eric Saade. My friend and I sang it last night, and it perfectly describe us that time. Welcome "Sleepless"!

Be brave to stay awake all night!
