Young And Beautiful

AND THE DAY HAS COME
Finally I make a marvellous song "Young And Beautiful" the song of the day. As well as "Mirrors" by JT, I couldn't call this song this title so simply. But tomorrow my friend will come to me for a night (therefore probably there won't be a post), and we will watch "The Great Gatsby"!! Hurray!

And so... There's nothing more to write about actually, so I just invite you to enjoy the song.

[Verse 1]
I've seen the world
Done it all
Had my cake now
Diamonds, brilliant
In Bel Air now
Hot summer nights, mid July
When you and I were forever wild
The crazy days, city lights
The way you'd play with me like a child

[Chorus]
Will you still love me
When I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me
When I got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will, I know you will
I know that you will
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?

[Verse 2]
I've seen the world, lit it up
As my stage now
Channeling angels in the new age now
Hot summer days, rock 'n' roll
The way you play for me at your show
And all the ways I got to know
Your pretty face and electric soul

[Chorus]
Will you still love me
When I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me
When I got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will, I know you will
I know that you will
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?

[Verse 3]
Dear lord, when I get to heaven
Please let me bring my man
When he comes tell me that you'll let him in
Father tell me if you can
Oh that grace, oh that body
Oh that face makes me wanna party
He's my sun, he makes me shine like diamonds

[Chorus]
And will you still love me
When I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me
When I got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will, I know you will
I know that you will
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?
Will you still love me when I'm not young and beautiful?

An Unexpected Journey

Welcome me back!
First of all, I wanna thank every person helped me: uncle Alik, 'my private driver' Dima, Alik's daughter Agniya and her friend Mariyana.
The day I arrived in Vladivostok was grey, cold, cloudy and windy, but it didn't prevent us (me and Agniya) from walking around the city and going on one of actual 3 bridges.

Agniya showed me some squares. Even though I'd already been in Vladivostok many times, I hadn't seen those squares. Generally, in 2 days I've just spent I've known about Vladivostok more than in 4 times I was there before.

I'm so short on this pic!

Tired but happy, I was brought to the place I was supposed to live, and there was no Wi-Fi. Actually it was an old building, but in the end I lived there for free, and I had TV and fridge, and a big bed, and hot water...
BTW I watched "Charmed" and "Smallville" on TV there. It reminded the childhood :3
The next day, yesterday, was more interesting, because it was the day of U.S. Consulate! I'd had to call an organizer from another city and then call my uncle to make a plan for a day. Well, I ("I'm waking up to ash and dust") woke up early, got ready, call that ma'am, then call uncle Alik. And he said my driver Dima would take me only before the meeting in the consulate! It meant I'd prepared in vain!! So I went back to sleep.
I met with the other guys from my group and the organizer from the other city (so this "other" city is Khabarovsk, exactly a company from Khabarovsk organises the American trip) an hour before the interview. Due to having some free time we went to a cafe where I got acquainted with the guys. They're really funny and nice, although only one girl and I were 16, and other guys were younger for a year or two. But it didn't make the matter worse, and I hope it would not do.

What about the interview, so there was no interview. I WASN'T ASKED A THING. The question is "So what did you do there?" Oh, they finger-printed me, revised my documents and that was all! And all the Khabarovsk boys and girls were asked nothing. On the one hands it's great they didn't asked us difficult and provocative questions, but on the other hand it's a little bit pity to fly to another city just to be finger-printed.

After the might-have-been interview I was joined by Agniya again, then we met her friend Mariyana and had a walk all together. We went to other squares and cafes, had fun more than a day before because now we'd already known each other. And the day was sunny and hot. But fortunately not HOT HOT HOT.

This cute Neptune gave me a bruise on the right leg.
POWER OF SEAS
With this photo my camera ran out of the battery.
I need my wire

Time for awesome stories
Agniya and I came to the coffee shop. The cafe was tiny with small circle tables, massive chairs and big paintings on vinous walls. We offered tea and cakes, everything was Ok and etc. In 5 minutes after that a group of strangers started to gather in that small coffee shop. I called them "anonymous club of businessmen". They picked all tables together (except ours, of course). When everyone had come, strange people decided to start their meeting. According to them, they met for the first time, but I never understood who they were and what the theme of the meeting was. "Anonymous club of businessmen" talked about the Internet, customers, hotels and some other stuff. It was so weird and hilarious for me and Agniya. I guess when we left the coffe house strangers took our table and chairs too.
~
On spending time with those odd lads, we continued walking, I continued taking photos.

And today I've slept enough and waken up just before going to the International Airport "Vladivostok". I'm glad, there's been Wi-Fi, but I've spent all my phone battery there, so now my cellphone's being  charged. But my Instagram has increased with the photos from the airport and from the sky.

Aaaand here am I. Home sweet home. But it was a big pleasure for me to travel to Vladivostok. I adore travelling and this kind of "Unexpected Journeys".
Can you guess the song of the day? No? And the band? Yeah, you know it! The band is certainly "Journey" for today! But you wound be wrong thinking the song of the day would be "Don't Stop Believing" because of me being a fan of "Glee". Nah, I love another song by "Journey", a song I would cry for - it's "Faithfully". And yes, "Glee" sang it too, so here's your 2 versions.

Hey, Vladivostok!

...don't make it bad
"The Beatles", "Hey Jude"

Yey! Already tomorrow I'll fly to Vladivostok. Even my mom's suggested me a good idea to look there for new shoes and camera wire, but of course if there's an opportunity. My smallest suitcase ever is almost ready, I'm too.
I'll be flying for 2 hours. Actually I thought the flight takes less time, but does it makes me sad? I love airplanes as Sheldon loves trains. So, I let you see how long distance I'll have to overpass. A red circle is my city Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and a blue circle is sweet Vladivostok I'm going to fly to.

Certainly flying isn't the only way for people to go somewhere from our island. But people don't prefer spending 11 hours on the ships.
I've spent today with my music friend, but most time we've been carrying out the request of my mother. And  although it's been fucking cold outside, we've had a lot of fun as usually.
As you can find out, the song of the day is the greatest song "Hey Jude" by incredible "The Beatles". Enjoy the masterpiece!

Hey jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.

Hey jude, don't be afraid.
You were made to go out and get her.
The minute you let her under your skin,
Then you begin to make it better.

And anytime you feel the pain, hey jude, refrain,
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders.
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder.

Hey jude, don't let me down.
You have found her, now go and get her.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.

So let it out and let it in, hey jude, begin,
Youre waiting for someone to perform with.
And don't you know that it's just you, hey jude, you'll do,
The movement you need is on your shoulder.

Hey jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then you'll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, oh.

Na na na na na ,na na na, hey jude...

Be brave!

P.S. See you on Thursday!

Waiting For What Comes Next

I'm becoming more excited about my coming trip to Vladivostok. Even though I probably won't have the Internet there. But it's only 2 days, I hope I'll be ok. Maybe, the place where I'm going to live has Wi-Fi?
Today I've visited one friend and we've been watched the very first season of "Doctor Who", old-school. More precisely we've watched 3 episodes, and each episode consists of several parts. And to tell the truth, it's pretty boring sometimes. But it helps to make a clear notion of the Doctor's world.
The weather is really cold today, brrr! It seems to say: "Hey, I see you became as red as a crab? Oh, it means the Sun was enough, so it's done". Accursed weather, think about your children.
Tomorrow I'll probably go for a walk with music friends and absolutely go to the rehearsal. There I'll say I won't be on lunch dedicated the Japanese organizers, but I'll talk to the American ambassador. Deal with it.
Returning to the Doctor, have you heard the news? Matt Smith will leave us as the 11th Doctor on Christmas. Let's start guessing who will the next Doctor and if there is a new Doctor actually?!
And the song of the day will be a nice song "Twins" by "Gem Club". Get satisfied.

The wind shook the kiss from your mouth
Before I could learn whose twin I was
Your face familiar like a light in the water
Just your touch could cure my lonesome blood
You let go of everything you had

And everything got left here waiting for what comes next
The state of things is tied to me
And I've been careless I think too much
I want to lie still near you I want to
The wind shook the kiss from your mouth
Before I could learn whose twin I was

Summertime Sadness

There're 2 big things.
Firstly I can't sunbathe, no way. When usual people get tan, I get red as a crab. Olga-crab. Cralga. Now it'll be hard for me even to sleep calmly.
But inspite of it our little picnic has been so great! As great as Gatsby. We've laughed and kept silence, eaten some stuff and done nothing.

And thank you, Universe, the weather's been hot hot hot.
Secondly, before meeting with my friends I went to my travel agency, and there I was said to fly to Vladivostok in several days, exactly on Tuesday, and on Wensday I'll have a conversation in U.S. Consulate. Earlier we'd been told not to worry about it, because I was only 16, but literally yesterday there was a call to the company about 16 year-old travelers, that we have to have personal interviews. I have to fly to another city for the 10 minutes conversation. Damn international relationships. Anyway I'm not upset to visit Vladivostok: I've missed my uncle Albert (actually, he's a classmate of my father) and I'll chance to see a new famous bridge to Russky island.
BTW, it's International Children's Day today! Hey! According to the law I'm still a child, so I have all rights to celebrate. Well, our small party in the park can be considered as a part of the holiday. Maybe the next time we'll go with a bigger company to the sea.
And you can understand the song of the day - unforgettable "Summertime Sadness" by my favourite Lana Del Rey.

Kiss me hard before you go
Summertime sadness
I just wanted you to know
That, baby, you're the best

I got my red dress on tonight
Dancing in the dark in the pale moonlight
Done my hair up real big beauty queen style
High heels off, I'm feeling alive

Oh, my God, I feel it in the air
Telephone wires above are sizzling like a snare
Honey, I'm on fire, I feel it everywhere
Nothing scares me anymore

(1, 2, 3, 4)

Kiss me hard before you go
Summertime sadness
I just wanted you to know
That, baby, you're the best

I've got that summertime, summertime sadness
S-s-summertime, summertime sadness
Got that summertime, summertime sadness
Oh, oh, oh

I'm feelin' electric tonight
Cruising down the coast goin' 'bout 99
Got my bad baby by my heavenly side
I know if I go, I'll die happy tonight

Oh, my God, I feel it in the air
Telephone wires above are sizzling like a snare
Honey, I'm on fire, I feel it everywhere
Nothing scares me anymore

(1, 2, 3, 4)

Kiss me hard before you go
Summertime sadness
I just wanted you to know
That, baby, you're the best

I've got that summertime, summertime sadness
S-s-summertime, summertime sadness
Got that summertime, summertime sadness
Oh, oh, oh

I think I'll miss you forever
Like the stars miss the sun in the morning sky
Later's better than never
Even if you're gone I'm gonna drive (drive, drive)

I've got that summertime, summertime sadness
S-s-summertime, summertime sadness
Got that summertime, summertime sadness
Oh, oh, oh

Kiss me hard before you go
Summertime sadness
I just wanted you to know
That, baby, you're the best

I've got that summertime, summertime sadness
S-s-summertime, summertime sadness
Got that summertime, summertime sadness
Oh, oh, oh

Be brave - it's SUMMER!

Bye, May. Bye, Spring. Bye, School.

School is over! Well, till September. But in any case we have a little time to spend it great and not to forget about coming summer. What plans do you have for these awesome days?
Right now I'm watching a good film "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". So cute! But be glad - I can't tell any spoilers now, because I don't know the end myself too.

Congratulations, guys - my friend's got her Coca-Cola glasses today!
Gotta admit, it's become Ok for me to wash the dishes, because actually I hate cleaning up the flat, washing dishes and all this house stuff. And now that means I can wash the dishes without booing. Maybe, one day I'll mop the floor and give the rooms a dust pretty calmer that now, but I suppose when the golden moment comes, it'll be the time to changes my homes.
Tomorrow is about to be an amazing day, 'cause I'll spend time with my dear friends outside, in the park, so I hope the weather will be nice as well as today.
And the song of the day, I want it to be something good and sweet, because of the atmosphere I've got out of the movie I'm watching. I offer a song by "The Beatles" I really love - "Strawberry Fields Forever".

Be brave, nothing is real

50 Ways To Say...

Tomorrow our school days will be finally officially over for this academic year!
And today my mom I've been o the concert of a dance group which works with our chorus. We went to China with some guys from the collective, they're really nice.
My friend trys to get Coca-Cola glasses, but the lack of th glasses at the place prevents her. Let's hope tomorow she'll get everything she need.
Aaah, it became warm, and all these abominable insects have come to our places, walking on my blanket and flying around my room. Oh God, it's the worst side of summer. The second bad side of summer is that it ends.
There's not so much to write about when I have a day off and do nothing (because when I do something, I can write twice, you remember). Therefore it's time for the song of the day.
Today it's "50 Ways To Say Goodbye" by sweet band "Train" (Sheldon loves trains). You will probably not find there all 50 ways, but Spanish melodies attracts. And the music video's cool:

My heart is paralyzed
My head was oversized
I'll take the high road like I should
You said it's meant to be
That it's not you, it's me
You're leaving now for my own good

That's cool, but if my friends ask where you are I'm gonna say

She went down in an airplane
Fried getting suntanned
Fell in a cement mixer full of quicksand
Help me, help me, I'm no good at goodbyes!
She met a shark under water
Fell and no one caught her
I returned everything I ever bought her
Help me, help me, I'm all out of lies
And ways to say you died

My pride still feels the sting
You were my everything
Some day I'll find a love like yours (a love like yours)
She'll think I'm Superman
Not super minivan
How could you leave on Yom Kippur?

That's cool, but if my friends ask where you are I'm gonna say

She was caught in a mudslide
Eaten by a lion
Got run over by a crappy purple Scion
Help me, help me, I'm no good at goodbyes!
She dried up in the desert
Drowned in a hot tub
Danced to death at an east side night club
Help me, help me, I'm all out of lies
And ways to say you died

I wanna live a thousand lives with you
I wanna be the one you're dying to love...
But you don't want to

That's cool, but if my friends ask where you are I'm gonna say
That's cool, but if my friends ask where you are I'm gonna say

She went down in an airplane
Fried getting suntanned
Fell in a cement mixer full of quicksand
Help me, help me, I'm no good at goodbyes!
She met a shark under water
Fell and no one caught her
I returned everything I ever bought her
Help me, help me, I'm all out of lies

She was caught in a mudslide
Eaten by a lion
Got run over by a crappy purple Scion
Help me, help me, I'm no good at goodbyes!
She dried up in the desert
Drowned in a hot tub
Danced to death at an east side night club
Help me, help me, I'm all out of lies
And ways to say you died
