After Every Party

... I'm supposed to die according to the song by IAMX ("After Every Party I Die"), but after our potential-super party I did not. Why potential? Because it wasn't so blowing-away as it could've been. And there are some reasons for that.

Countryside As I Know

Today I had to visit my not-so-dear elder sister due to the birthday of her younger daughter. It wouldn't be too bad, if my sister and her family didn't live in a tiny village! The village's called Taranay, don't even ask me what it means - I have no idea. So I pick here a map, you can see what way my mom and I had to follow from our sweet Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Taranay.

The Engish Fest

Today's English festival wasn't a festival where you could easily get beer, dance with adorable ladies and have fun with your good old buddies. Was it so because the fest was for... pupils? Oh, most likely. But I'd rather had a glass of beer than was sitting there and listening to those criminal things many children did.

Damn Chemistry

Oh man, it's been a week since my last post! And of course I've got something to tell you.
First and foremost, the 3rd academic term is over. It means now I have a little bit more than a week to relax a.k.a. a spring break, and then the last term - our last battle - will start. Maybe, I should start preparing for my exams? Generally, my results of the term aren't bad at all, I've got only one 4/B mark - for chemistry, but we all know the rule: chemistry sucks.
Secondly, I started reading "The Picture Of Dorian Grey" by the British classic author Oscar Wilde. Even though I've read only few dozens of pages, I'm already in love! Every sentence can be a quote, Mr. Wilde definitely knew the life.
The next week some guys from my school and I will participate in the festival of English, and I'll play the guitar and sing along (what a surpriiiise!). In the beginning I decided to perform "You" by "The Pretty Reckless", but lately I ran into another song I really love through anything - "Give Your Heart A Break" by Demi Lovato. It seems to be my favourite song by this singer. And even if I don't sing it for the contest, I'll obviously record it for my YouTube channel.

Also Ilya asked me to sing a song from... Skyrim! I plan for learning it during the vacation, you know, I can memorize a song for one day.
My classmate and I are going to organize a cool party in the end of the next week, and I hope it will come off. Just wait for further news!
I've already set TSOTD up, so you can go and enjoy your day/night. Bye!!

RoboCop Sucks

As I wrote yesterday, my today was dedicated to Cherry Lady, my music friend celebrating her 18th birthday. In the beginning of the journey we wanted to go to the cinema to watch "The Lego Movie" (yup), but all tickets were sold out, so we decided to watch "RoboCop", a remake of the 1987 classic. And even though I didn't watch the original film, I was able to understand - the 2014 movie is crap. I was on the edge of falling asleep, really. Now we can measure things with the scale of RoboCop to... to Fassbender, for example.
I presented Cherry Lady a CD disk of Muse's greatest hits, a gift card with some nice handwriting, a facial mask with red wine and a song we ended up singing together.
But when I got home, I had another task - I had to bake an American pie. Why did I exactly had to? We'll need to cook something for girls' competition judges, so it was my test effort. And it sucked. On the scale of RoboCop to Fassbender, my pie is two grades higher than RoboCop.

Due to my putting more pastry than was needed, my American pie became a real Russian one. Of course, my parents liked it, but I knew it was all wrong.
Now I'm gonna spend some time watching "Glee" and "The Vampire Diaries", and that'll be the end of my day. The song of the day will be "She's Not Me (Pt.1)" by 16-year-old Swedish singer Zara Larsson. What an amazing song!

She doesn't love you - like I do
She doesn't have my name
However she tries - to act like it
She'll never be the same

But she's new and she's beautiful
You've never been in a fight
Yeah it's awfully perfect now
But you just know deep inside

She's not me
She's not me
She's not me
Baby
She's not me

Does she
Make you feel wanted - like I did?
Make you feel like you're the one thing that matters?
You let her head rest - on your chest
But when you close your eyes

You'll be seeing my face again
I'll be crossing you mind
You'll be dreaming of places we went
And then you'll wake up to find

That she's not me
She's not me
She's not me
Remember
That she's not me

She's not me
She's not me

Spring As We Know It

Well, I doubt if I can call it "almost here". This "almost here" will come in the mid of April, but comparing to a whole year, so yup, it's soon enough. You know, yesterday I got the best end of a month I'd ever had, but today's start of another month was just a simple day, even too sleepy.
