The Results of the Year

'Cause I'm never gonna get these drums out of my head
And I'm never gonna get some sleep inside of my bed
And I'm sorry if good night is something I never said
From "Back To Life" by "3Oh!3"

2014 is coming up, so it's the time to come across what's happened to me this 2013 year. Surely, you can follow almost my every day, what I do, where I go, what I eat, but anyhow it's always kinda the honour to put an end to something, especially a whole year.

Big Christmas Time

I've been too busy these days, so here's a little chronicle of mine.

25.12.2013
Hey, it was Catholic Christmas! My congratulations! But still it was the busiest day of the day - I had too many things to do. I was at school for a longer time than usual because we, girls, had to finish sewing the suits of the boys. In the evening we had a party with the chorus, so Dasha and I had only about 3 hours before it to do everything each of us needed and... dye my hair. Yup! It was my aim #1 that day. I wanted to make a surprise for everyone at chorus and at school the next day, so I hadn't told no one about my plans to make the ends of my hair be red again. Expecting my worries about the lack of the time, my friend and I had no problem with the execution of my idea. Ah, well, she dyed me a little bit awry, but it's not a big deal.

We used up my American hair-dye; it was "Punky Colour" Vermilion Red by "Jerome Russell". If I knew it would be so cool and I would like it so much, I'd buy more jars with different colours. We didn't brighten my hair this time, so red ends don't look so synthetic now as it was past August. After making dip dye, I prepared quickly to go to the chorus. Certainly, I put my new dress on. Frankly speaking, everyone liked my look. (Yeah, I've been lazy to cut some photos up)

OH GOD the day came. This day is a big day of our New Year performances. I had to wake up at 6 a.m. (though usually I try to raise my ass an hour later) to fix myself up generally, handle with the hair-rollers and put false eyelashes on. We'd been told to come to school by 8 o'clock, and all the madness started at 9 a.m. We spent only 3-5 minutes for our dance of snowmen and snowflakes, but we had to repeat it every hour and, what is the most draining, we had to wait. We ate, wandered around the school, took photos. Also there was a disco after the play for each parallels of the classes, and to make children move we joined their discos. And there we were rocking the fuck out. I guess, many pupils didn't dance because they watched how we did it! We had 6 performances, and we taught 'em how to rock at 5 discos ( simply because we missed the 1st one for the 5th grades). Dasha instagrammed how we were improvising "Gangnam Style" for the 7th grades - clickclickclick
I don't know if the pupils liked our stuff, but we did, generally. The main idea of the play was that it was played only by the senior students. Our organizer just helped us to do that, some teachers sewed costumes. You see, usually teachers performed different plays to us, and this year we did everything by ourselves.

I've downloaded some photos of our dance taken by another girl.

You can recognize me with my white band and
curly half-red ends

Disco-part of our trick

You will be surprised what song had been chosen for the fast part of our dance. Check it! It hits my brain, I think I'll literally throw up if I hear this song one more time.

27.12.2013
Oh man, the last day of the school this year! Yey! I got all A's, super excellent, though everyone knows my math isn't so good. We had only three lessons, I presented everything I'd prepared to my friends and teachers. Then I came home and SLEPT! ALL DAY!
Now I remembered Dasha made some awesome stuff for me, and I've made it. I've already posted about that new Internet trend, it's so funny!

I have some series to watch their Christmas episodes. Firstly, I'm gonna watch "Doctor Who"; other Whovians would kill me because of the fact of not having watched the episode. You should know that Mr. Capaldi appears there.
What about the song of the day, so I'll put here what I wanted to do on 25th December. TSOTD is going to be my favourite Christmas song called "Last Christmas", and you can pick out your own favourite version.

Be brave this Christmas and give hearts to right hands

New Dress. Being Snowflake.

Hey there! My Sunday was full of various stuff, and here it goes.
In the morning (I can call it 'morning') my mom and I went to the shop because according to her she'd saw a nice dress for me (we still keep on looking for a dress for the prom). But mom turned out to pick dresses out for herself, and it made me mad! In the end I found a dress to try out (and even burst out crying in the fitting-room). The dress were too warm to be called "prom dress". Of course it was! - now Christmas time, and there are piles of dresses made of tough fabrics, they are meant to be worn in winter and autumn. But mom decided to made a New Year's present for me and bought it. Yey! Now I've got a new beautiful dress! It's so classy! But frankly the material, the dress is made of, reminds me a carpet LOL

What my happiness about the dress fell off, I started sewing... a skirt for my snowflake suit! I did it absolutely "hand-made", because I had no sewing-machine and didn't want to ask someone's help - if you want to do something well, do it yourself! And well, I did. But instead of a puffy skirt I got a tulip-form one - just because I sewed the layers in a wrong way. Anyway, it's pretty puff, but not in the way you may think of the snowflake. Maybe, tomorrow I'll try doing something else with the skirt, but it's unlikely.

My Markiza really liked the cloth

A ready-made skirt being fixed up

And here I am a snowflake! Couldn't help Instagramming. As you can see, I also decorated my top; earlier I bought white tights, and today I've bought white ballet shoes. This top silver bolero I bought 2 or 3 years ago, but yesterday I finally cut a flower off from it - snowflakes don't have flowers! And if you've mentioned this shining something on my head, so it's kinda a crown, fitting perfectly for snowflake's role.

While I was making my super skirt, my parents fixed our fir-tree up. It became so nice and festive! Even though our firs aren't so luxurious as there're in the USA, but still they're so fine and homey.

Today I've been informed my holy friend Ilya and I will participate in the region stage of the Olympiad for English. Atta guys!
The song of the day will be "Sexxx Dreams" by Lady Gaga from her latest album. I know I made it TSOTD already, but I've been listening to this song all day long and can do nothing with that.

Be brave! Have nice dreams!

Blue Post

I'm feeling so down.
I'm still a little bit angry with my friend, because I'm done with his jokes - they are stupid! So I didn't talk to him for a day, today I did, but it wasn't so friendly and  happy as I'm used to talking to him. If he said "sorry", everything would be as it's meant to be. He tried to make me talk, but I'm humanitarian - one word can change my mind, but I haven't heard it yet. Besides, Dasha mentioned yesterday he wasn't so funny as usual, and told me he was sad because I put up a silent boycott. And I have to admit my guilty friend was also blue today. Well, I'm not the one to suffer. I understand it's foolish to take offense at idle jests and tricks, but you can guess there isn't only that stuff; like a storage counter I collect some mordant jokes and dumb acts, and then my mind blows up and I shout out "THAT'S ALL! I'M DONE. I DON'T TALK TO YOU ANYMORE!"
Moreover, I wasn't great at my English lesson, and it confused me a bit. I'm not about that my tutor criticizes me somehow, she never does; I'm about criticizing myself - I feel like I'm let down when I fail in the things I'm sure about.
And generally I never sleep enough.
But my day's had some good things too! Firstly, I was told I'll participate in the regional stage of the Olympiad for history. I was shocked and puzzled! Certainly, it's cool, but I always tell you I'm a jolly fool at history. No, it doesn't mean I won't take part in that amazing event. I have time to prepare.
One more awesome news is that we bought a fir-tree! We always but natural ones. In some day my mom and I will fix it up, and it'll be a cute Christmas tree, I'm sure. Yesterday Dasha and I also decorated a Christmas tree at school.

Our tree
The tree and some decoration at school
Yesterday's evening and today I spent with "Right There" by Ariana Grande feat. Big Sean. As it gets a normal thing, I didn't like the song for the first time. But then, even without listening to it, I started to hum it and couldn't stop. So yesterday I took a grip on myself, and here it goes! Marvellous Ariana and Naya Rivera's fiance represent us "Romeo And Juliette" story.

(If you wanna party, if you, if you wanna party)
Then put your hands up (put your hands up)
(If you wanna party, if, if, if you wanna party)
Then put your hands up (put your hands up)
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe

[Big Sean:]
Sean Don!
Okay, this, this, this
For my number one girl
Who got the top spot title
Spent an hour in the bathroom
Walked out looking like a model,
God! Doing what you do,
Got me right there with Apollo,
On the moon (moon)
Who needs genies in a bottle girl
If they already got you
(Got you, I got you)

[Ariana:]
Boy you make me feel so lucky
Finally the stars align
Never has it been so easy
To be in love and to give you
This heart of mine

You know what I need (aye)
I know what you like, (aye)
Put it all together baby
We could be alright (hey)
How could this be wrong
When it feels so right
Yeah, I really love you
I really love you
And I'll never let you go...

You should know
I'm never gonna change
I'm always gonna stay
You call for me
I'm right there (right there)
Right there (right there)

Cause you listen and you care
You're so different
No one compares
And if you never change
I'm gonna stay right there
I'll always be right there

You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe

I get butterflies, just thinking
About you boy you're on my mind
Sometimes I catch myself daydreaming
Lost in your eyes and I lose all track of time

You know what I need (aye)
I know what you like, (aye)
Put it all together baby
We could be alright (hey)
How could this be wrong
When it feels so right
Yeah I really need you
I really love you
And I'll never let you go...

You should know
I'm never gonna change
I'm always gonna stay
You call for me
I'm right there (right there)
Right there (right there)

Cause you listen and you care
It's so different
No one compares
And if you never change
I'm gonna stay right there
I'll always be right there

[Big Sean:]
(What okay what)
Now if all fell through
Would you catch me before the pavement (what)
If my Benz turned back to public transportation
Would you still be at home for me with the candles waiting (what)
And get my mind back adjacent the place of a young visionary
A player too
You know I have some girls missionary (oh)
My black book
And numbers thicker than the dictionary
And Bible I got it recycled
I love and I like you
Five course meals even though you don't mind a drive-thru
That's why I got you

[Ariana:]
And I'll never let you go... (I got you)

You should know
I'm never gonna change (I'm never gonna change)
I'm always gonna stay (I'm always gonna stay)
When you call for me
I'm right there (right there)
Right there

Cause you listen and you care
You're so different
No one compares
And if you never change
I'm gonna stay right there
I'll always be right there

(If you wanna party, if you, if you wanna party)
You got it, I'll always be right there
(If you wanna party, if if if you wanna party)
I'll always be right there
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
You got it, you got it babe
Got it babe.

Work Week. Vine. Music.

Haven't written for a whole work week, hah?
I didn't study on Monday - all day as a couch potato. Tuesday and Wednesday were as usual. THORsday, yesterday, was CRAZY. I went to school, then in an hour - to my English tutor, again in an hour - to the rehearsal of our New Year performance at school, and once more in an hour - to my chorus rehearsal. I didn't have time for anything! I was exhausted as a hard-working bitch, really. But today I've felt the highest pleasure having slept for 3 hours after school. And still I want to cut the fabric for my New Year skirt of the snowflake.
Some days ago my tutor gave me the 1st chapter of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" to read. And I read it so quickly, with big interest and no problem! Therefore my tutor decided we'd read the whole book. So cool! Who knows, maybe, I'll chance to read other books too?
Dasha sends me a lot of Vine videos lately. I've already run into Vine videos on David Henry's Twitter page, he has hilarious ones, as well as many videos of Vine are.

Ah, on Monday I made a cover for incredible "Tattooed Heart". Here's the link, if you want to learn.
Sht, yesterday I was full of thoughts, but too tired to type. And now I don't remember a thing! Actually, I don't have anything serious to describe (or I don't simply remember). But I feel like writing a "Movies' Day #N" post.
Due to the fact that I haven't written for several days, I dare to make 3 songs of the day! Here goes Beyonce with "Yonce"/"Partition", Toni Braxton with "Yesterday" and Britney with "3".

[Verse 1:]
See me up in the club with 50 of them girls
Posted in the back diamond fangs in my grill
Brooklyn brim, with my eyes sittin' low
Every boy in here with me got that smoke
And every girl in here gotta look me up and down
All on Instagram, cake by the pound
Circulate the image every time I come around
G's up, tell me how I'm looking babe

[Breakdown:]
Brought this all for you, just walk my way
Just tell me how it's looking babe [x2]
I do this all for you, baby just take aim
And tell me how I looking babe [x2]

[Verse 2:]
Drop the bass, man the bass, get lower
Radio, say speed it up, I just go slower
High like treble, pumping on them mids
The man ain't ever seen a booty like this
And why do you think you keep my name rollin off the tongue
Cause when you want a smash, I just write another one
I sneezed on the beat and the beat got sicker
Yoncé all on his mouth like liquor [x8]

[Beat switch]

[Verse 3:]
Driver roll up the partition please
Driver roll up the partition please
I don't need you seeing yoncé on her knees
Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up
We ain't even gonna make it to this club
Now my mascara runnin', red lipstick smudged
Ah he so horny, yeah he want to fuck
He popped all my buttons and he ripped my blouse
He Monica Lewinski'd all on my gown

Whoa dere daddy, daddy didn't bring a towel
Whoa baby, baby better slow it down
Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up
And we ain't even gonna make it to this club

[Hook:]
Take all of me
I just wanna be the girl you like, girl you like
The kinda girl you like, girl you like
Take all of me
I just wanna be the girl you like, girl you like
The kinda girl you like
Is right here with me

[Verse 4:]
Driver roll up the partition fast
Driver roll up the partition fast
Over dere I swear I saw them cameras flash
Hand prints and footprints on my glass
Hand prints and good grips all on my ass
Private show with the music blastin'
He like to call me Peaches when we get this nasty
Red wine drip filth talk that trash
Chauffeur eavesdropping trying not to crash

Whoa dere daddy, daddy now you ripped my fur
Whoa baby, baby be sweatin' on my hair
Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up
And we ain't even gonna make it to this club

[Hook]

I gave you the benefit of the doubt

'Til you showed me what you were about
Your true colors came out

And your words couldn't hide the sin
'Cause the truth about where you been
Is in a fragrance I can't recognize

Just standing there, scratching your head
Bloodshot eyes, drunk with regret
Hanging yourself ten feet over the edge

I'm done with this, feeling like an idiot
Loving you, I'm over it
I just don't love you, don't love you no more

You, you are so yesterday
Never thought you'd lose my love this way
Now you come begging me to stay

See you, you are so yesterday
I won't let you rain on my parade
I don't wanna hear a thing you say
You're so yesterday

Baby, what you're saying to me is
There's no more you and I
I couldn't get it right on yesterday
So kiss our tomorrows goodbye

Baby, love should brought me home
Should've just been a man about it
But now I'm crying like a baby
Girl, your love was like my blanket
Don't know what to do without it

I'm standing here, pleading my case
You don't care to hear what I say
Hanging yourself ten feet over the edge

My promises don't mean nothing
The end is so disgusting
I just don't love you, don't love you no more

You, you are so yesterday
Never thought you'd lose my love this way
Now you come begging me to stay

Honey, you, you are so yesterday
I won't let you rain on my parade
I don't wanna hear a thing you say, so yesterday

And now you wanna reminisce
Say you wanna try again
It started with a little kiss
But we can't even be friends

No, no, now I never wanna see you
Never wanna feel you, never wanna hear you
I don't love you, don't need you
Can't stand you no more

You, you are so yesterday
Never thought you'd lose my love this way
Now you come begging me to stay

You, you are so yesterday
I won't let you rain on my parade
Don't wanna hear a thing you say

So yesterday, so yesterday
So yesterday, so yesterday

One, two, three,

Not only you and me.
Got 180 degrees and I'm caught inbetween.
Countin' one, two, three...
Peter, Paul and Mary.
Getting down with 3P, everybody loves... Uh!
Countin'...

One, two...
One, one, one, one, two, three...
Countin' one, two...
Countin' one, one, two, three...

Babe, pick a night
To come out and play.
If it's alright,
What do you say?

Merrier the more,
Triple fun that way,
Twister on the floor.
What do you say?

Are you in?
Living in sin is the new thing, yeah...
Are you in?
I am counting...

[Chorus]
One, two, three,
Not only you and me.
Got 180 degrees and I'm caught inbetween.
Countin' one, two, three...
Peter, Paul and Mary.
Getting down with 3P, everybody loves... Uh!
Countin' one, two, three,
Not only you and me.
Got 180 degrees and I'm caught inbetween.
Countin' one, two, three...
Peter, Paul and Mary.
Getting down with 3P, everybody loves... Uh!

Three is a charm,
Two is not the same.
I don't see them harm,
So are you game?

Let's make a team,
Make 'em say my name
Loving the extreme.
Now, are you game?

Are you in?
Living in sin is the new thing, yeah...
Are you in?
I am counting...

[Repeat Chorus]

What we do is innocent,
Just for fun and nothing meant.
If you don't like the company,
Let's just do it you and me (You and me...).
You and me (You and me...),
Or three (Or three... or three...),
Or four on the floor.

[Repeat Chorus]

Be brave!

Bey and Jane

Part I. Bey

Unexpectedly, on the morning of December 13, 2013 Mrs. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter released her self-titled fifth studio album. Beyonce's fans could only dream of the album, but the singer gave all of us such a great present, because it's not just an album, but a "visual album" - every song has each own music video! I haven't watched everything, but I've already picked out my favourite song called "Jealous". The most interesting thing is that Mrs. Carter did no promotion, no advertisement, and therefore a new album just blew the Internet the fuck out. Amen.
I was gladly surprised having found such amazing names in the list of the producers as Jastin Timberlake, Sia and Ryan Tedder. Sia wrote nice "Pretty Hurts" for the album, JT is one of the authors of "Blow" and "Rocket" (and maybe, something else); what about Mr. Tedder, so earlier he had written unbelievable "Halo" for Beyonce, but I don't know which songs exactly he wrote.
When the album is sold in our Shitville, I'll definitely buy it. And here's some songs I liked too:

Part II. Jane

Since yesterday's evening I've been watching some filming of the novels by my favourite Jane Austen. Firstly, I watched the mini-series "Emma" from BBC starring Romola Garai (do you remember her in "The Hour"?) as the titular heroine Emma Woodhouse, Jonny Lee Miller (he appeared to be very handsome) as her loyal lifelong friend Mr. Knightley and Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore!) as Emma's father, Mr. Woodhouse. Probably, about a year ago I started reading the novel, but my education left me no time and I laid it off, unfortunately. And I didn't want to watch a screening still feeling like reading the story till the end. But yesterday I gave up and gave in on finding a pretty version by BBC, even though it took about 4-5 hours for me to watch the whole series: each episode was about an hour long.
Today I watched also BBC mini-series "Sense and Sensibility" (with 3 episodes). What a good story! And after watching it I can notice interesting mutual things in Austen's "Sense and Sensibility", "Emma" and "Pride and Prejudice": a main character is a young woman, a deceiving handsome man and a man, who seems to be annoying and bad, but turns out to be the most awesome and greatest guy. I'm right, am not I?
Right now I'm watching "Persuasion" (2007), and I won't insist on my "Austen theory" about the characters there, but who knows - I've watched only a half of that.
I've wept for every story, and, perhaps, "Persuasion" won't be an exception.

You can guess what is going to be the song of the day - cool "Jealous". Girls, we're all quite jealous, aren't we?

[Verse 1]
I'm in my penthouse half naked
I cooked this meal for you naked
So where the hell you at
Just one shot left of this drink, in this glass
Don't make me break it
I wish that you were me
So you could feel this feeling
I never broke one promise, and I know when you're not honest
Now you got me yelling that's because I'm jealous

[Hook]
If you keeping your promise, I'm keeping my word
Oh I'm jealous
If you keeping your promise, I'm keeping my
Oh I'm jealous

[Post-Hook]
Sometimes I want to walk in your shoes
Do the things that I never ever do
I take one look in the mirror and I say to myself
Baby girl you can't survive like this no

[Verse 2]
Take it one step further
Freakum dress out my closet
'yonce fillin' out this skirt
I look damn good I ain't lost it
And I ain't missed a beat
Boy you been hanging out tonight
I'm staying out 'til tomorrow
Been dancing on them tables ain't got no cares, no sorrow
I ran into my ex
Said what up to his bestest
Now we reminiscing how we used to flex in Texas
Don't be jealous

[Hook]

[Post-Hook]

[Bridge]
And I hate you for your lies and your covers
And I hate us for making good love to each other
And I love making you jealous but don't judge me
And I know I'm being hateful but that ain't nothing
That ain't nothing
I'm just jealous
I'm just human
Don't judge me

[Hook]

Be brave, read and listen to good things

Are You Crazy?? or Don't Let It Snow

Dear Santa,
If you heard me singing "Snow In California" in the bathroom, so I have to warn you: California is not here. I thought you'd be better at geography, but California is thousand miles away across the Pacific ocean, and I live on Sakhalin, Russia. Or well, it can be called "Russian winter". What am I talking about? THIS:

I Came In Like A Cannonball

Oh goody oh goody oh goody! Semi-annual exams' time has come! Yesterday we wrote a test for Russian, and tomorrow we'll have a real ordeal - a test for maths! I hope I'll get an easy variant and remember all the formulas. God, save the Queen me.

Ariana Grande

I decided to write this post about my latest "discovery" - a young and beautiful American actress and singer Ariana Grande. I should be thankful to Twitter's World Trends, because right there I saw her name for the first time and wondered who she was. But finally I made up my mind to get acquaintance with her only this week. Firstly I browsed the Wikipedia to see where she'd been shot and found "Victorious". I'd already heard about that series, but then I watched one episode. I can't say anything special about it, but Ariana had to dye her hair red to play her role of Cat Valentine, a pretty shallow and childish girl. Then I made the rightest decision to start listening to her and her songs with her live performance - it was "Tattooed Heart" at the AMA 2013 where she had won the award for New Artist of the Year. I immediately fell in love with the song and the voice; moreover I can't deny that Ariana is definitely beautiful, though sometimes she has a look like she's sorry, and in general she's so dolly-doll! I really liked her performance, nothing's superfluous, only elegance and the voice.

Then I watched her other works - music videos I mean. And from her official clips I wanna mark out "Popular Song" feat. Mika. They also both sang that song at "Dancing With The Stars" where Glee's Amber Riley participated and won (Yey!). But other works didn't catch me much. On watching "The Way" feat. Mac Miller I realized that I'd seen that music video on TV, but I also hadn't felt it keenly.

But I absolutely loved her live performances. The singer admires Whitney Houston, India.Arie and Mariah Carey, so you can easily find some cover versions of  their songs by Ariana on her YouTube channel. And as Christmas and New Year are coming up, I'd like to point out to her cover on Cary's "All I Want For Christmas Is You".

Moreover, Ms. Grande has her own Christmas EP with nice holiday songs. I feel like sharing this one with you, about a weird situation for California - snow.

Generally, Ariana has 2 studio albums: her first experience "Yours Truly" and just mentioned by me "Christmas Kisses" EP. Talking about her personal life, now she's in a relationship with Nathan Sykes from my 4th favourite band "The Wanted" (OMG SO COOL)! They even have a mutual song called "Almost Is Never Enough" as a soundtrack for a movie I don't remember the title.

Here's my little Ariana Grande's review, if I may call it so :) The song of the day will unconditionally be "Tattooed Heart", I listen to it several days in a row.

You don't need a lot of money
Honey you don't have to play no games
All I need is all your loving
To get the blood rushing through my veins

I wanna say we're going steady
Like it's 1954,
No, it doesn't have to be forever
Just as long as I'm the name on your tattooed heart

(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)

You don't need to worry about making me crazy
'Cause I'm way past that
And so just call me, if you want me
'Cause you got me, and I'll show you how much I wanna be on your tattooed heart

(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)

Just as long as I'm the name on your tattooed heart

Wrap me in your jacket, my baby
And lay me in your bed
And kiss me underneath the moonlight
Darling let me trace the lines on your tattooed heart

(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)
(tattooed heart)

Just as long as I'm the name on your tattooed heart

Be brave!

P.S. I was told that I'm a awardee for the municipal Olympiad for history! HISTORY!! So surprised! Typing 'awardee' I mean I'm not a winner, not just a participant without anything, but a prize-man. Probably, I'll be gift a flesh card by our city authorities. I also hope, I'll get good results for other subjects *fingers crossed!*
